I have been eyeing the step stamping that you do to achieve the look of dimension in flowers. There are many companies making them, my LSS just happened to be selling this set so I decided to go for it. Thankfully Altenew has on their site a template to show you how to line them up which is very helpful. This was my first attempt at them and I think they turned out pretty good. I don't feel I am very good at mixing colors well but this was my favorite combo of stamp colors for the pinks I tried.
The leaves in the set also has step stamping, I think here I only did the two steps instead of 3, but I can't remember I have since done a sheet for myself and wrote the colors of ink I used for future reference. I hand cut them all out to add to the card, I popped up only the center flower since this was being mailed to my nephews wife.

I am once again sharing this post over at Stephanie's Roses of Inspiration Link up post. If you have some extra time on your hands stop by and see all the wonderful links of inspiration that is over there, you won't be sorry. I see she also has posted some new things in her Etsy store. I am eyeing one of her bags she posted, I try not to buy things I can make myself but I don't think I am going to be able to hold back on this one.
Thanks so much for taking the time to stop by and I would love for you to comment and let me know you stopped by,
Thanks and have a wonderful rest of your week,
Connie

I am in love with the colors you used for this card, sweet Connie. I have always liked pink and turquoise together and of course the roses won my heart. Thank you for sharing your talent and beauty with Roses of Inspiration.
And thank you for the sweet words. You are such a precious friend. Love to you!
Oh, Connie, what beautiful colors indeed! And I love blue and pink together, and the lattice work is stunning with the beautiful die frame! Gorgeous card, sweet friend! (P. S. If you are a SCS Fan Club Member, you might consider my Dare To Get Dirty challenge....) Hugs!
I love the whole thing...the trellis, the wording, the fabulous roses...those dimension stamps are SO effective. I think only an experienced crafter could do this so accurately first time. : )

Connie, your flowers look almost like embellishments or punch outs or something that you'd buy ready made. That's how perfect they are! You did a great job and I love the colors. Pretty framed over the lattice with the designer paper peeking through. I like multi-step stamps, too. The SU stamps are easy to line up. I haven't tried these, but I have been admiring them, for sure.
This is just beautiful Connie! The trellis for the roses is perfect and I love the soft pinks you used for the step stamping too!
So pretty! Love the roses and the color combination!! thanks so much for dropping by!!
Hugs,
Deb
This is such a pretty card you made Connie!
You make the pretties cards...and I love your color choices.
You make the most beautiful cards, Connie :)
Another pretty rose card Connie. The colors are wonderful. I also love the lattice background. So pleased to hear about little Stephanie.
I love this card, Connie. I think the colours are perfectly matched. The pinks of the roses, the green of the leaves and the blue look lovely combined with the pretty white lattice.
