16th Birthday and Double Arches

I have used this truck stamp on the past 3 great nephews who have turned 16, I think I am getting my use out of it and I have plenty more great nephews to come :)

The paper had the license plates on it, all I did was stamp the truck give it some color with a sponge and some ink and stamped the sentiment and the tire marks.

Today I am sharing pictures of the Double arch and the area

This next one looks like a keyhole to me

I love the contrast of the blue sky, the rocks and then the green in this one

I had a procedure done on Thursday to try and correct my hammer toes.  He cut 3 tendons in the top of my foot in hopes that my toes will go straight.  He said we won't know for awhile if it worked in one of the toes because it is pretty bad, I may have to have a pin put in on that one, sure am hoping this worked and I won't have to go through that.  The forecast is saying cooler temps next week after a storm system comes through, hoping for quick healing so I can get out in that nice weather and enjoy some walks :)

Hope you all enjoy a wonderful weekend ahead. Thanks so much for taking the time to stop by today!

Connie

Oh, dearest Connie, I am praying that this procedure will work and that you won't have to have a pin. And how wonderful that the weather is beginning to cool down. I love how you've used this great truck, and what a great DP with the license plates. Wow, the photos you and Greg took of the arches are amazing! What splendor God has created in all these beautiful places. Rest and praying that you will heal well and quickly! Tender hugs, sweet friend!

Your card is perfect for those 16 year old boys ... I'm sure he'll treasure it! WOW didn't realize you were dealing with such an ordeal ... I will pray the procedure you've already endured will 'do the trick'. Yes the weather is quite pleasant her today (she says taking a deep breath). My daughter and her friends ran a half marathon and 5 person relay in Akron today so they were REALLY happy that it was a bit cooler. Have a wonderful weekend and heal quickly! OH YEA ... thanks for more awesome vacation photos ... Lovin' it!!!

You make hands down the best boys' cards! The truck and the sentiment and the paper are all such a perfect combination. Stunning photos, and I don't use the term lightly. They take my breath away. I've been enjoying a lovely trek through the Arches with you as you've shared them. Connie, I sure hope you don't have to have more work done on your feet! I've heard hammertoe can be pretty painful, but maybe it's different in everyone. You've got the kind of spirit that will see you through to a great recovery and you'll be out walking soon.

Hi Connie, I love the card. It's perfect for a 16 year old. You have such wonderful pictures of Arches National Park, I can't remember seeing the double one, very interesting. Your procedure sounded painful. I hope and pray everything goes well and your foot corrects itself. Take care! Kelly.
