Red Tulips

I know this is more like a spring time card with the tulip, but I am determined to use my stickers every few cards I make, and it was time again :)  This was a very large sticker so it called for a tall card, which I don't do very often, it fits into a business size envelope.

I added a few gems and the jute bow and the little lady bug sticker onto the leaf.  I think the border punch I used doesn't go well with the paper when seen in the photo, in person I didn't realize it, so hopefully to my friend in person it will be ok :)

K&co. Tim Coffey-- Red Tulips embossed stickers
DCWV -- Timeless Texture paper (background)
Crate paper -- DIY shop for border papers
American craft -- Jute
Stamp on it -- Sentiment sticker
Spellbinders -- Labels trio
Mark Richards -- crystals

I hope this has inspired you to get out your forgotten treasures whether they are stickers or old stamps or dies and have fun playing.

Thanks so much for taking the time out of your busy day to stop by and for leaving your comments,

Connie

P. S.  I didn't have time to go through my pictures, I am hoping to have more in my next post :)

Spring or not -- I love your beautiful card!! :)
Tall cards are some of my favorites, though I don't seem to make them very often! Your lovely creation has inspired me to try some again!

Very pretty, Connie, and I like your solution to use a business sized card. The tulip is very nice and the stripes at the top and bottom certainly enhance it. I think it is good to use some out of season things because sometimes we want to be reminded of Spring in the Fall, or you will have a card to stash away for future use.

As a gardener, I don't think you can ever go wrong with a beautiful flower or bouquet on a card anytime of year! That is one fabulous tulip! Love the size of your card too! Beautiful!

Hi Connie, I love seeing tulips any time of year and this card is gorgeous. Great to create some bigger cards too. Love it.
Not sure why the follow by email is not working right. I hope it fixes itself since you resigned up. Thank you. Have a blessed weekend ahead. xo

I love business size cards, Connie, and this one is beautiful! Especially the borders are a fantastic idea when using larger, thin elements - love this idea! I'm going to case it for sure! Pinned so my followers can enjoy it, too! hugs, de

Another very beautiful sticker and I do love a tall card. I know your friend will find this beautiful, too. I think your border and papers are just fine. You're so good with these forgotten treasures. I find things in my stamp room and have all good intentions to use them, and then forget them again. I have too many things swirling around in my head when it comes to stamping, and I think it's all because I have too many things in my stamp room!

You can't beat tulips at any time of year!
I love the way you've done that jute bow and lady bug sticker.

Look forward to seeing more photo's when you have time ...

Happy weekend wishes
