Here is my next card that I made for one of my blog friends Alex. She has started a new blog but doesn't have anything up yet, she is in need of a new camera so she can share her lovely pictures and talent with us all :) We are crossing our fingers that Santa has heard about this dilemma and will bring her a new one for Christmas :)
Alex had just recently moved to a new home also and that is what inspired her card today.
I was having a hard time getting a picture without a shadow, for one thing not as many nice sunny days lately, I really need to invest in a set up for my pictures. Here is another angle of it.
I wanted to get the look of vines crawling up on the sides of this step card so I cut two more that went on the gate and added them to the sides.
Taylored Expressions -- Garden Arbor& Gate, and Arbor Accessories dies
Our Daily Bread Designs -- Blushing rose Collection papers and sentiment
Fiskars -- Grass border punch
Martha Stewart -- Leaf punch
Stickles -- Diamond (flower centers)
Thanks Alex for sharing the beauty of England with us and your lovely self.
Hope you all enjoy the most wonderful weekend ahead, I know that may mean staying home with a warm drink, it seems that most of the U.S. is experiencing a bit of cold temps right now.
I will be having two Dies R us post on Sunday and Monday, hope you can come back for those.
Thanks so much for taking the time to stop by and letting me know you did :)
Connie

This is just lovely and on such a cold and blustery day, it is nice to think about a summer garden like this one! I like these step cards and you added so many pretty die cut decorations to each one!
I don't really have a good set up for photographing my cards either. I sometimes think I should invest in something and usually decide to buy more stamps instead...
Connie,
This is such a pretty card. I love the colors as it reminds me of my Craft Room which is done in these colors...
Hugs.

wow ... such a sweet creation Connie!
I'm sure your friend will be over the moon to receive this awesome card! I really love the vines around the arch gate. You always amaze me with your creative ideas!
A really pretty stepper card Connie, I love the vines around the arch.
Connie ~ you know how much I was charmed with this beautiful little card!
It is on my shelf , bringing me a smile as I pass by, and will be for many weeks.
I think I said in my email (but I want the other ladies to know!) just how much I was impressed to see one of your creations up close and for real.
Your workmanship and design skills are first class, my friend and you just keep coming up with beautiful little works of art!
Thank you so much, once again for this!
Stay warm!
Fabulous step card! I love the creeping vines and that gorgeous trellis and gate! She will loooooooooooove this! I don't have a special gizmo for my card photos, what I do is take white poster board folded in half, set it on my kitchen counter and put on all the lights (especially the under the cabinet ones) seems to work pretty good for me without any extra costs. Good Luck!
That's a very nice card Connie, I love the design.
Here's hoping Alex will get a visit from Santa, and he may leave a new camera!
Enjoy the up-coming weekend, no matter what the weather may bring you.
All the best Jan
