Autumn woods

I think we have been going on so many Autumn trips here lately that it has given me plenty of inspiration for cardmaking :)  I had planned on posting this on Thursday but my hubby had off Thursday and Friday so he said we should run over to Branson Missouri and see how the colors are in that area of the Ozarks, so off we went, even though I always have fun and enjoy looking at the fall colors I can honestly say I am ready to be home for awhile.

Here is another card using the Mega flakes on the frame, I just love the colors in this Autumn Blaze.

I did a little sponging with the tumbled glass distress ink on the back of my cardstock before putting together the scene to give a bit of sky color to the background. Also did some inking on the diecuts and added some white dots to the deer.

Poppystamps -- Thicket frame and stitched landscape dies
Indigoblu - Autumn blaze mega flakes on frame
Taylored Expressions -- Evergreens die
Memory Box - Valley deer trio and birds die

Wishing you a fabulous weekend!!
Thanks so much for taking the time to stop by today and letting me know you have!

Connie

Such a beautiful meadow. I feel as though I'm secreted away in a forest, watching the animals Frolic happily and the safety of their own haven, Connie! It's a wonderful scene. I especially like your coloring in the leaves, and the soft inking in the background. Lovely card! (Almost like one of your excursions!) hugs, de

Happy Sunday wishes to you, big hugs xx (ps: in case you're wondering why on earth I'm on my computer so early on a Sunday morning, well, I couldn't sleep anymore and thought I might as well come out of bed and do something, lol)
