A challenge in the stamp group was to use a stamp you haven't used in quite some time or not at all and this one was given to me and I wasn't quite sure how I would use it and while staring at it I thought, how about putting one on top of the other and this is what came of it :)
After stamping and coloring it just was too white so I added a bit of shading around the edges first with a yellow and then with a brown.

On our way home from Michigan my hubby found Cataract Falls covered bridge on the map in Indiana that wasn't too far off the highway so we decided to check it out. It was a bit cloudy when we arrived but still got some pretty pics.
The water falls were down stream from the bridge.
This area was in the same park but quite a ways from the bridge farther down stream.
I hope you all have a wonderful weekend, we are getting a lot of wind in this area.
Thanks so much for taking the time to stop by, love hearing from you!

I love how you have placed this stamp, Connie. Love the border shaded with yellow and brown, too. Lovely waterfall. I love the covered bridges you have in America.
Curious s isn’t it that a land that had so much timbe rit could cover its bridges, very pretty countryside.
Loved the card Connie, think you’re very clever to think of that design Connie, is funnyn isnt the way some cards make themselves step by step like that... hugs Shaz in Oz.x
The shading is great on this card. I love the mirror image and the little butterflies on it. Great shot of the covered bridge!

Wow what a great idea on how to use that stamp Connie ... and I like the idea of shading too ... looks awesome! LOVE the photos ... you & Greg do such a nice job of photographing your side trips ... what wonderful memories you will have when you are old & gray! LOL Beautiful waterfalls and love that covered bridge! Well done on both counts!
Cold, very rainy and winds are picking up here! AND they say we could see some of the white stuff! Ugh! nothing to speak of but still ... I just finally got all my Fall clean up finished yesterday ... I'm not ready to start shoveling yet! LOL Big HUGS
Oooh, it's a pretty stamp no matter how you use it, but I love the design you came up with. Reminds me of needlepoint or embroidery just because of the stamp design. I would have been sad to miss seeing those falls on the way home. There's always another trip, but there are always more sights to see, too. So beautiful! Lots of leaves still on the trees.
another gorgeous card and your vacation images are so pretty.....
love that covered bridge and the beautiful reflection!!!
Your double stamped creation is lovely, Connie! I've not tried that technique yet - you are so adventuresome with your paper hobby! Same as your travels -- Lovely beautiful stunning - yes, all run together - the landscape is breathtaking! hugs, de
Great balance and it covers tour card front panel beautifully, it's a really pretty stamp! Fun travels!
Good gracious is this ever a beautiful card. How interesting and intriguing that you should have double stamped it the way you did. The addition of the yellow is beautiful.
I love the way you’ve used this stamp, such a pretty design.
.....forgot to add that your photos are wonderful as always, thanks for sharing!
