I am winding down on the Fall masculine birthday cards. This time I used an embossing folder for the tree and colored it with my markers.
Had to add some die cut deer and birds :) a bit of sponging with my distress inks for the sky and grass.
Darcie - Leafy tree trunk embossing folder colored w/ markers
Poppystamps -- Cheery cardinals die
Memory Box -- Valley Deer Trio die
Distress inks, background
The rest of these pictures are from different stops we made going up the eastern side of Michigan along Lake Huron. Sorry about all the sunset pictures but I must have taken over 50 pictures it was just a beautiful end to the day.
I don't recall the name of this lighthouse, we walked out on this long pier and even with my lens fully zoomed in as much as it could the lighthouse was still a bit too far away to get a good picture.
Not too often do you see a farm right on the edge of the water
Pointe Aux Barques Lighthouse
When I turned around the glow on the trees from the sunset was just spectacular, it really doesn't even show up real well in the photo
Thanks again for taking the time to stop by, I know how busy this time of year can be!!

Hi Connie! Gorgeous masculine card...you have given inspiration to make one; I always have a hard time making these type of cards!
Beautiful beautiful pictures...I especially love the pictures where the sun is setting! You should frame them.
that's a great card connie, i like the masculine/deer cards. your vacation pictures are so pretty. the sunset is especially beautiful, what i see is always grander than what the camera can capture...so i know what you mean!!!

loved each view that reflects serene beauty of surroundings, loved the glowing trees and specially the sun set pics are enchanting!
Spectacular is right! Any of the horizontal shots would look amazing as your blog header, but in particular, the sunsets would look amazing against your tan blog background! Gorgeous! And I love your autumn colored card as well with the prancing deer rejoicing in their cooler weather. Sweet! hugs, de
Cool card. I like how you coloured your autumn leaves. Your sunset pictures are absolutely beautiful. So bright and vibrant. Glad you have such a good time driving around.

Fabulous card Connie! WOW! I don't even know where you find the time to create cards ... you guys are always on the go and come back and share such beautiful photos!! Don't apologize for the sunset photos ... they are gorgeous ... how could you possibly choose just one! Hugs
Wow, I thought the tree was a die cut. You did an amazing job with it! Your coloring is so perfect and precise, and that's not so easy with an embossed image. A great scene for a fall birthday card! Your sunset pictures are spectacular! What a light show! The glow on the trees behind you is gorgeous, too. You say it didn't show up well in the photo, so it must have been really something IRL. The Great Lakes are a destination for us next summer. So many things to see along the way, as well.
A fab masculine card, such a pretty scene.
Fantastic photos as always, the sunset ones are just stunning!
Absolutely beautiful!! Thanks so muchf or stopping by!!
Hugs,
Debbie
