Trail/Sympathy

Back today with another Colorist card, this time from Hot off the press, I think I mentioned this before but their cards are a little bigger than A2 size, so I cut them down to fit my cards, this one hung over a little bit, but I wanted to give you a heads up if you want to try these on your cards.

I sponged the background of the cards with yellow ink. The sentiment sticker comes in silver but I wanted it blue, they color nicely with markers.

Hot off the press - Floral Garden for Colorist, colored w/markers and Tiny words & phrases dazzles
Distress ink - Fossilized Amber, background
Gem

The following pictures are from the same trail as I shared last time, now we are walking back down, the trees were quite thick and very tall.

It was another beautiful day here yesterday, last few days it has been in the low 70's, starting today they are going back down gradually, so we decided yesterday was time to put up the outdoor Christmas lights, one of the sets we bought on clearance last year was a bit of a dud, one side of the net lights are bright and the other half are dim, really weird.  Today I am going to start on the inside, have you started on your decorating?

Thanks so much for taking the time to stop by today!!

Connie

Blue and yellow is one of my favorite color combos and you made it shine on your lovely sympathy card!
I always enjoy your nature pics too!

OMGosh, this is one beautiful and outstanding card. The yellow and blue are pretty, but most of all all that yellow. Thanks for sharing your photos with us. I always enjoy personalized posts. Sorry about your light woes. I live in an apartment and we swagged garland across the balcony and added big oversized Christmas bells and added rope lighting. It looks so festive.

Lovely card. I like how you adapted the panel. I always enjoy your nature photos too. I have started decorating inside, but not out.

Sigh... not only is this a beautiful image, but your coloring of it is outstanding! A gorgeous card. Your photos make me long for spring, even though they're fall pictures, but spring is the next season of decent weather. We're not expecting rain today so we're taking the dogs out. Everything is sopping wet and rain is coming back tomorrow. We don't get much of a break. I still have Thanksgiving decorations up, but will get out the Christmas stuff next week.

Connie, what a warm yellow you chose for that pretty card! The trail photos are simply beautiful!

A very nice card, Connie - love those warm colors. Such a pretty trail with all the autumn color. Too bad about your lights - so inconvenient. I haven't started decorating yet - hope to get to it this weekend. Temps in the 70's sound wonderful. We are in the 40's now, but it was sunny today and seemed warmer, so I worked outside all day. Hope you have a lovely rest of your week. Hugs xo Karen

Such a beautifully colored card Connie! It will truly bless the heart of one who receives it! Enjoyed your nature walk pictures, the fall colors are gorgeous! We are getting snow here tonight, not much, but still it is coming down. Blessings :)
