Deep Sympathy

It is hard to make sympathy cards but when they are for a young person it is even that much harder. A long time, on line friend lost her 32 year old daughter in a car crash. I can't even imagine what she is going through right now.

I stamped and used white embossing powder around the edges of the patterned paper and added some washi tape to some white cardstock before punching out the butterflies and added some small clear gems to them.

Papertrey ink - Meadow Greens w/white embossing powder
Taylored Expressions - Care & Comfort II stamp sentiment
Tim Holtz - Symphonie Tissue tape
Martha Stewart - Butterfly punch
Studio G - gems

Thanks for taking the time to stop by,

Connie

Your embossed white stamping looks like part of the designer paper. I had to look very closely. Beautiful sentiment. I can't even imagine the heartache your friend is experiencing. I'm so sorry.

Hi Connie, (as you know, I can concur with your friend - as I lost my 33 yr old daughter in an auto accident a little over a year ago. It is such a---crushing and healing process . . . but with Gods help we can 'grow, under the load' . .)
This card is so gorgeous Connie. Beautifully done. The contrast is
lovely, and the sentiment very thoughtful.
Beautiful embossing and leaf piecing.
Hugs to you, karen o

It is hard to make and send out sympathy cards. Sometimes words are just not enough... lovely card Connie. The white heat embossing looks so pretty on the purple/pink background.
