This next technique was a little messy but fun, and you never new how it was going to turn out, I was going for a sunset look but ended up going in a totally different direction with the card I made. I used 3 different colors of paint, I didn't do any measuring just added my paint, then some water and dish washing soap, mixed them and starting blowing with a straw, now this is a bit messy so you want to have some papers down when you are doing this but since there was soap in the mix I think clean up went quit quickly :)

Oh, you wouldn't believe it but I have a long honeymoon story about painting with that straw method . . . it was followed by us washing the walls of our hotel room before we went to bed that night. No telling what would have happen if we would have let it dry. On top of that we had a friend give us a bottle of champagne. We had it in the bathroom sink on ice and in the middle of the night it exploded, so we washed the walls of the bathroom . . . When ever people ask us how to spent or honeymoon we tell people we sent it washing walls in Seattle, LOL.

Seems like the acrylic paints would make a much better medium! Your little girls are sweet - reminds me of my sister when we were little and blew bubbles on the back porch.
