Fairy's and Lightstation

Today I am sharing a card from my latest magazine subscription Cardmaking and Papercraft June 2019. They have stamps in this but they also had these great card toppers that are so pretty, I liked the coloring so I decided to go with them instead of the stamping.

The papers and butterfly tag was in this set also.  I just added a sheer ribbon and some gems from my stash. I added some wink of stella to the wings on the paper and card topper, but they didn't work well with the sheen that is one the card topper so I added some stickles to those wings.

Cardmaking & Papercraft June 2019 magazine, Dovecrafts - Fairy tales, card topper and papers
Queen & co. - Petite Posies Green gems
wink of stella on wings on the paper
Stickles - Diamond for wings on the card topper

I am sharing the last of our pictures from our Michigan trip. This was the hottest day on our trip and I actually got a bit of a sunburn while we were at this lighthouse.

White River Light Station

There was a nice big side yard but to get a good picture of the front was hard since as you can see the chairs out front was at the edge of the property and then there is a lot of steps that lead you down to a walk along the river.

Here is a picture of it from down on the river walk. The sun was kind of harsh so hard to get a good picture.
Thanks so much for stopping by today and I hope you are enjoying a great weekend!

You sure have some cool lighthouses over there. This one's on a river? It looks like it was a very warm and sunny day. Your card sure is pretty! So lovely to have the paper and card topper together. Can't have fairies without sparkle! BTW, I meant to say on your previous post that I like your idea of using new and old together. I sure have a lot of new stuff lately, but I don't think I could make a card without using something old. Enjoy, Connie!

Connie, Oh I love lighthouses. That one is splendid! I imagine if walls could talk, that lighthouse would have many interesting stories to tell.

And I am a sucker for anything fairies! Love your card!!

I have that issue of the magazine and haven’t used the contents yet. It does make such a pretty card how you have done it.

Your photos are always fun to look at. What a lovely light house. So many wonderful ones you visited. I feel the heat in the photos, too. Thanks for sharing, Connie!

Such a cute card. It's nice to get free product from that magazine. I have stamps from them.

Very interesting photos. I've never seen a brick house/lighthouse before. It looks so quaint. Thanks for sharing all your beautiful photos.

your pictures are fabulous, you found some really beautiful lighthouses on your trip!! don't you hate when it gets so hot you almost can't enjoy being outside and you would almost prefer to be indoors. then what is summer about, i wish it didn't get so hot!!!
