Stencils

The next challenge was to use four stencils we hadn't used before to make backgrounds and then make one of them into a card.  I only had two maybe 3 because I can't remember if I had used one of them before that I hadn't used yet.

The one I chose to work with was the children with the kite stencil, I put them on the corner of my panel on purpose because I knew I would want to make a scene with them.

The stencil comes with the children with an option to use a balloon or kite with them, I went with a kite. I had to draw in my own string and added the bows all the way down.  The tree is a die cut and I added some of my clouds and grass to make the rest of the background.  I didn't realize until after I was sizing the pictures that I had smeared the sentiment so I am going to have to see if my sand eraser will be able to fix that.

Hope you all have a wonderful weekend, we have sunshine once again, that makes this girl very happy!

Thanks so much for taking the time to stop by and saying Hi,

Great card Connie, love the image build up, well done! Also re messed sentiment, stamp it again on oval plain die cut with contrast colour underlay scallop will help hide issues. I’ve done that before! 😉
Thanks for sharing, and God bless, Shaz in Oz.x

Well, this is sweet! I couldn't come up with 4 not yet used stencils. I only have 6 or 7 altogether, ha! I love the golden brown ink you used. These challenges sure get you to using some of your supplies!
