I made up quite a few of my layered flowers ahead of time so whenever I wanted to use them all I had to do was pull them out, I added a little shading around the edges and some sparkle to the darker pink card stock.
I loved this paper with the bird, I just had to pair it with the flower. I stamped the sentiment on some patterned paper too.
DCWV - The Primrose paper
Gemini - Dahlia layered flower dies

I hope this finds all my friends out west doing well and staying safe from the fires. Continued prayers for you all.

This is just beautiful Connie and I LOVE your dahlia! My FIL used to grow 'dinnerplate dahlias' ... they were gorgeous and huge in size. Yours reminded me of those beauties he grew! Lovely overall design! Hugs ... please stay healthy!
Bold. Beautiful! Oh so lovely! It's fun just to create!
Oh so bright and beautiful. Your flower really pops off the page. Great work, Connie.
A brilliant idea, Connie, and so very fun to make such a gorgeous card relatively quickly. I really love this!
I love that gorgeous die cut flower -- what a great idea to make them up and have them ready to pop onto a card!
The pretty birdy paper and the gorgeous flower and leave do sing perfectly together. LOVE that flower!
Such a good idea to have the flowers already made, I really should do that too! Your card is beautiful, the papers are just gorgeous too.
