When I bought this die I was thinking it was a die in the shape of a tree with the words inside, no it is a die that cuts into your paper. You will see in my last card. I cut the die 3 times and used the template for placement on my card, I taped the left over piece to my background and pieced in each of the letters using glue, I would think there has got to be an easier way but do you know I couldn't remember how I have seen others do it. So needless to say I did only two cards that way.

On this card I decided to use just the Merry Christmas portion of the tree sentiment and the stars and ornaments I didn't use on the other cards, piecing together some of the jingle paper pieces I had left over.
The last card I used the portion that I cut out and backed it with red paper and pieced in the star and ornament with more gold card stock.

You are zooming along with the making of your Christmas cards, Connie. All four cards are cool. Love the sentiment in the shape of a Christmas tree. Love the word "You" with the "o" as a bauble...so creative.

I don't know an easier way, unless there's a coordinating die that's sold separately. Your last card looks like the easier way to use it and I love the effect. But then you made two other cards that look awesome, too. You're on a roll, Connie!

Thank you for joining us at CAS Christmas. I am not sure the cards are quite clean and simple enough, most CAS cards need to show lots of "white" space, which doesn't necessarily mean "white" it could be a solid color or at least one that is not too busy. And usually there are not many embellishments on the card. I think you have a winner though with that die and making four cards is a plus!

Great Christmas cards! That is a different kind of die for sure, but you have used it perfectly here! Merry Merry! Someday I may actually start mine....someday....but probably not today lol
