I recently bought a few packages of Ephemera when they were on sale at JoAnns, I was pretty excited to try and use some of them on a card. Today I went with a masculine card I needed. I didn't realize until I was getting ready to post that I never put a sentiment on this card but it is a Birthday card.
I used washi tape on the upper right corner and hand stitching on the left side of the tag. I liked this mushroom and thought the bug matched the coloring well.
- Tim Holtz - Field Notes Ephemera 94051, Collector Layers 93553 and Rose collection washi tape
- Basic Grey - Oxford paper
- Hand stitching and inking on the tag
I was pretty happy with the way this turned out, I hope he likes it too.
Thanks so much for taking the time to stop by today, Have a wonderful week ahead!

a very nice card for any special guy who would probably love the bug!! the colors do go together well!! it is going to warm up here this week, i think by you also!! enjoy it!!
This is FUN! I love the hand stitching, what a great accent! Sometimes I make cards without sentiments, you can always add one later. I like the items you used!
Love your background and the fun ephemera you used on this awesome guy card!
This is a wonderful masculine card. You are reminding me that I need to make some for my stash box. I'm not too crazy about makeing masculine cards... So I tend to forget making them.
Fabulous, love these kind of cards and papers...xx
This card is brilliant :)
All the best Jan

Great masculine card, Connie xoxo
This is a great masculine card, Connie. I love the background card and the little bug and the mushroom are perfect.
OMG, I love mushrooms and was looking at my PP mushroom set yesterday. So many stamps I long to color, but never enough time! This looks amazing, Connie, and I do not miss the sentiment at all. It's perfect!!
Fabulous masculine card, something very different too.
