Last month I had gone to JoAnns store to see if they had anything new in stock and they were having a sale on card making things. I saw this set of ephemera and thought it was so pretty so I picked it up, Wellll obviously I thought it was a nice pack before because when I came home and went to put it away I already had the set. So the next on my list to make a card for was my friend here in town so I decided I needed to make something with the set and this is the card I came up with.
- American Crafts - Art Journaling Ephemera (Vellum flower and Vellum script)
- P13 - Secret Garden Paper (behind flower)
- Ribbon from Advent Calendar
- Queen & Co. - Twinkle Goose bumps
- Tim Holtz - Metallic sentiment sticker
As you may have noticed one of the Gems in the corner that was supposed to hide the glue I used to hold on the vellum fell off, luckily I did notice while putting it into the envelope for her and so it was on when giving it to her, I just didn't take new pictures.
Thanks so much for taking the time to stop by and say hi,
Connie

Oh how I laughed out loud reading that you bought a pack of ephemera that you already have. I feel I can relate but this is really pretty ephemera and you made a beautiful card with it.
Happens to the best of us lol It is soooo pretty though! Double your fun! Gorgeous card and spectacular products. Loving that gold scripted Vellum! Enjoy it twice as much!
Wow! What a gorgeous card! I love all the different layers!
Well, you did a great job with the new euphemia package, or did you use the last one first? LOL
Your card would make a great sketch. I'm loving the placement of your elements.
That’s such a classic crafter moment! 😄 It’s so easy to fall in love with a set twice when it’s that pretty. Your friend is lucky to receive such a thoughtful, handmade card, especially with the beautiful ephemera set you’ve clearly loved enough to buy twice! I bet it turned out gorgeous—there’s something extra special about cards made with a personal touch.
Wishing you a fantastic weekend! I'd love for you to check out my new post: https://www.melodyjacob.com/2024/10/my-visit-to-hunterian-art-gallery-in.html
This is so pretty, I can believe you would grab it twice! Lol Love how it turned out. Purple is such a rich color.
Oh, yes... I think you can use two packs of these beautiful pieces! That gold vellum script makes a gorgeous background, and I would have thought the P13 paper was part of the set. It's ideal! An absolutely lovely card, Connie!
