One of the Ladies in my card making group sent some of us ladies a package of napkins and said she wanted to see what we would come up with them.
I am working on other projects for the other ones but I made cards with a these ones. I chose to add pattern papers and colored papers behind the napkins, I used decoupage glue on the pattern paper and then laid the napkins on top, after they were dry I cut them into card base sizes and glued them to my card base. I think using the patterns and colors behind give them a different look.
This first I used some stripped pattern paper, you can see the stripes peeking out.
- Napkin decoupaged onto stripped pattern paper
- Tim Holtz - Funky Foliage dies
- Martha Stewart - Tag punch
- Stamps of Life - minis4circles sentiment stamp
- Twine
The next two cards used the same napkin but I used different pattern paper behind so they have a different color to them.
- Napkin decoupaged onto pattern paper
- Making memories - Leaf brads
- Twine
- Napkin - decoupaged onto pattern paper
- Twine
- Button
This last one I used white cardstock behind.
- Napkin decoupaged onto white cardstock
- Making memories - leaf brads
Close up to see where the leaf brads were used.
I will have more ideas I have done with other napkins soon.
Thanks so much for stopping by today,
Connie

How clever to use the napkins this way!! And such a great way to recycle them instead of throwing out unused ones. They all turned out so cool but the Snoopy one has my heart. ;) xoxo
Beautiful Autumn leaves and colours and love them mushrooms and lovely paper napkin prints and the scarecrow is fun and cute..

I think these look brilliant ... especially the snoopy one :)
All the best Jan
These are great! I've done that before with a group of crafty friends too. What a fun way to whip up some beautiful cards.
So beautiful.

These cards are absolutely beautiful, Connie! I love how you've used the napkins in combination with different patterned papers to create such unique designs. The added touches like the leaf brads, twine, and buttons really elevate the cards. It's always amazing to see how creative everyone can get with shared materials.
We're almost at the end of the week! How's everything going for you? By the way, I just posted a new blog over at www.melodyjacob.com.
Absolutely stunning and awesome designs here, just love those napkins and colours.
Beautiful and FUN! Love the different prints! The possibilities are endless! We used to have stores called The Christmas Tree Shops, I would buy all of their napkins, so pretty and so many styles on the cheap! They all closed! Bummer!
I absolutely love what you did with these napkins! The first one is jaw dropping. Great idea to use the gently patterned paper with them. Love the texture. These are WOW, Connie!
They are all beautiful, Connie xoxo
Wow! Love your take with using napkins on cards! Using them on patterned paper is a great idea!!
Connie, your creativity never ceases to amaze me! Using napkins to create such beautiful and unique cards is truly inspiring. I love how each card has its own distinct look with the different patterned papers and embellishments. The Snoopy card is especially adorable!
