Hubby and I have been very surprised in the amount of Blue Jays we have been seeing this spring, gave me inspiration for this card, even though he isn't a blue jay he is a blue bird :) I used some dimensional stickers from Hobby Lobby for the bird to rest upon and framed it all with a wooden die cut frame. Had to add some stenciled clouds to the background :)
- Tim Holtz - Feathered Friends die and small talk sticker sentiment
- Paper Studio - Dimensional stickers
- Hero Arts - Wood Frame infinity die
- My Favorite things - Cloud Stencil
Hope you are enjoying your weekend. We have warmer temps now, sure feels like summer but our skies are hazed over by all the smoke coming down from Canada's fires. I sure hope that the firefighters are able to get it under control, I can't imagine what it must be like up North.
Thanks so much for taking the time to stop by today,
Connie

Beautiful and sweet card. Have a blessed Sunday.
Connie, your card is gorgeous! I love the colours and details. Stay safe, dear friend. Perhaps and hopefully our Quebec planes will be sent to assist in putting out those wildfires. We have special planes here that were made to handle them, because we get them every summer. Not sure you have heard about them, but they are very effective. They can go over a river, lake, whatever, collect some water and then use this water to douse the wildfires.
Stay safe.
What a gorgeous card with your beautiful bird and flowers Connie and I love the added dimension..

It really looks like you designed a picture frame. It's beautiful, and everything seems so three-dimensional.
Love the wood frame and your pretty little posies. That blue bird looks fantastic and the colors POP! I just said to my Hubby yesterday I saw a Blue Jay....I think it's been awhile. Great card!
So sweet xoxo
What a sweet, sweet card! The blue bird is delightful resting on the pretty pink flowers.
Oh so lovely.
So sweet. Your talent always shines.
Oh, this is very pretty, Connie! I love this bird set. You've made such a soft and lovely framed background for it. I do hope Canada's fire season isn't as bad as last year. Ours will be starting soon. It's been so bad I sometimes wonder how long before there's nothing left to burn.
What a beautiful card! I love the cloud background, the sweet little bird, and pretty flowering branches! It all goes together perfectly.
A lovely looking card.
Here in the UK we've been hearing about the Canadian fires and the smoke hazards they are causing. God bless the firefighters for what they do.
All the best Jan
a lovely card featuring the bluebird of happiness!!
A beautiful card! The wooden frame gives it a wonderful rustic charm, and the layering of elements creates such a striking dimensional effect. The blue bird resting on the delicate flowers is simply delightful, and the stenciled clouds add the perfect touch of softness to the background. A truly lovely composition that feels both serene and full of life!
Beautiful card!!!! that bird is just lovely.
