For Friend

A friend of mine asked me if I could make some cards for her, she wanted all sorts and this first one I wasn't sure what she would want to use it for so I didn't add a sentiment.

  • Graphic 45 - Steampunk Debutante paper pack and image, butterfly fussy cut and added to top
  • Martha Stewart - Border punch

This second card uses some papers and tag from a magazine and a pack of sentiments.

  • Hot off the press - Cardmakers' Card Quotes
  • Scallop die unknown
  • Cardmaking and Papercraft magazine - Country Diary of Edwardian Lady, paper and tag
  • Brad
  • EK Success - Flower punch w/ Liquid Pearls, copper for center

Thanks so much for taking the time to stop by today,

Connie

I'm glad you were able to fulfill your friend's wishes. The first card is very interesting, and the second one is very summery, and I like the sentiment.

Awesome! Both are great! She will be very happy! We met up with a friend of ours, who moved off Cape last year, for dinner and I brought her a dozen cards, she was very happy. Your friend will be so pleased!

Before I started making my own cards I was very drawn to blank cards for the art, and I'm sure your friend will love your first card as well as the second. You can't go wrong with cards as pretty as these!

That is so sweet of you and they turned out great! I love that steampunkish one - it almost looks art deco too. :)

Connie, these two cards showcase such a lovely range of style and mood. The first one feels wonderfully mysterious and artistic with that Steampunk Debutante image—your fussy-cut butterfly adds just the right touch of whimsy and movement. The second card has such a warm, nostalgic charm, and the scalloped edge paired with the soft floral tag creates a sweet, countryside feel. Your friend is lucky to receive such thoughtful and beautifully crafted pieces.
