Playing with more goodies from last years advent calendar. This time a 3 layer stencil from Diamond Press. I did the stenciling in the middle, using cutting dies to layer stitching lines above it and then adding a piece of paper with a die cut bow and string to the base, just a different way of using these smaller stencils. This card looks like it should have come together quickly but boy did I run into all kinds of troubles and it ended up taking me almost 3 hours, you just never know looking at a card how long it took to make.
- Diamond Press - Advent Calendar, 3 layer Stencil
- Memory Box - Country Stitches
- Impression Obsessions - Tied Line die
- Crafter's Square - Sentiment Stamp
I would like to share my card with Stencil Fun Challenge Optional Trees or leaves
Thanks so much for taking the time to stop by today,
Connie

This card is so pretty! But yes, sounds like it was more complicated and I admire your patience. Lol Please know it was worth the effort because it is a beauty! 😉
This is so so pretty. The stencil work is perfectly done. I wonder if now that one card is done it might come together quicker for you. So many of my cards take hours because the thought process is so long.
This is just as sweet as can be! The stenciled florals are so pretty and I especially love how you added all the stitched lines. This is fabulous Connie!
Something that looks easy doesn't mean it is easy. The card is lovely! The stitching lines make it look so delicate.

Very pretty floral stencil, love the colors you used. The stitching detail looks great, love that!
It looks sooo pretty and I like the combination from stitching lines and stenceling!!
This is beautiful. You did a great job. I find layered stencils are hard, have to think a little harder on the colors.
The most darling card.

This layered stencil design is such a clever way to spotlight the advent calendar goodies—your central stenciling is beautifully crisp, and the stitched lines frame it with such elegance. I love how the die cut bow and string add a playful twist to the composition, giving it a gift-like charm. It’s so relatable that a “quick” card turned into a three-hour adventure—your perseverance paid off in a truly delightful result.
such a fun and beautiful card using the stencil!!!!
excellent colors, Connie!

So pretty, I do like those colours together.
All the best Jan
Gosh, it's so pretty! You're right ... it doesn't always show how long it took to make a card. It's amazing the snags you can run into. Love the design with the stitches and the string bow die!
Oh I love the pretty pinks with cream! What a beautiful floral card!
Just adorable!
