For the next birthday card I needed I thought it was time to use more from my Advent calendar, I have a lot yet to use before the next one comes out :) I found this vase with flowers that I thought would be very pretty. I had recently had a box with some nice corrugated and thought I hadn't used that in a long time on my cards, and I like the look, I left some of the pieces of white that was over it and inked it up a bit.
- Teresa Collins - Tell your story papers
- Spellbinders Advent calendar 2024 (flowers and vase dies) sentiment banner
- Enamel dots
- Torn cardboard, bits of paper left on with some inking
Thanks so much for taking the time to stop by today and hope you have a great week,
Connie

Lovely card.
I love the bit of rustic the cardboard gives :) I bet there is a lot of goodies in an advent calendar like that. Lots of inspiration! 😉
I find this card so pretty and infinitely appealing. You've used that corrugated cardboard just right with the paper and vase, even the sentiment banner... they all go together perfectly!
It's a lovely card Connie.
All the best Jan

It's beautiful, Connie! xoxo
The mix of textures in this card is so striking—using corrugated cardboard with bits of white still clinging to it adds such a rustic charm, and the inking gives it a beautifully aged feel. The vase and flowers from the Advent calendar are perfectly placed, and I love how the sentiment banner and enamel dots tie everything together with a polished touch.
Pretty card!
