I brought out some pretty ephemera for the next birthday card I needed, I also added a flower I had cut from a piece of smooshed background I had done with inks. I placed a piece of vellum behind the frame.
- Photoplay - Beautiful Junque ephemera (frame and sentimentw/butterfly)
- 49 and Market - Coral Mini 6x6 collection paper
- Fiskars - Vellum
- Tim Holtz - Funky Foliage die
- Pearls
We had very strong winds all day yesterday and all night, luckily we didn't lose power as parts of the city did because of down lines, there were a few tornadoes that hit an hour or so north of us that did some damage to homes. We went to being in the 70's yesterday to this morning of -7 windchill. Winter is back again with a vengeance.
Thanks so much for taking the time to stop by today,
Connie

Beautiful.
Beautiful card and I love all the details! That is some crazy weather and what a swing between 70's to freezing! Stay cozy! xo
So pretty and such a fun layout! The eyes move around the card so nicely. First drawn to the flower and then the butterfly and back to under the flower. Perfect layout!
This is gorgeous, Connie.

Beautifully done Connie! Love how you've put all your do dads together! Yes the weather here in Ohio has been crazy too ... I am SO OVER IT and winter has only just begun! Ugh ... come on Spring!! lol
It's very pretty Connie.
Our UK weather has turned chilly, definitely warming soup weather :)
All the best Jan
Such a lovely mix of textures and soft details. The vellum behind the frame adds a gentle glow, and the ink‑smooshed flower brings in such natural movement. The butterfly and foliage balance the layout beautifully. That weather swing sounds intense, and I’m glad you stayed safe through those winds.
