Pink Birthday

It was about time that I used another of my goodies from my Advent calendar. This time it is a stencil from Diamond Press. I cut my background piece of pattern paper and I used the stencil on the top and then flipped the paper and did it on the bottom also to frame the sentiment. I felt it needed a little something more and found these flowers I had bought years ago that went with it perfectly!

  • Diamond Press 2025 Advent calendar - Stencil, used on the top and bottom of pattern paper
  • Colorbok - Layered Flowers
  • Hero Arts - It's your day sentiment stamp

I would like to share my card today with the following challenges:

Word Art Wednesday anything goes

Thanks so much for taking the time to stop by today,

Connie

Very pretty stenciled card. Love that you did it on the pattern paper and added the cute pink flowers. Thanks for sharing with us at Seize the Birthday.

Oh, Connie! This is LOVELY! Definitely says IT'S SPRINGTIME! Pretty paper, made even prettier with your stenciling. Connie, it's always a joy using my "old" flowers. Unfortunately, I went a little crazy back when postage was calculated by weight instead of dimension. LOTS and LOTS of flowers were pre-made by happy little fingers, and I also purchased a lot of them, as well. These delicate pink flowers also show that strength is found after the coldest of winters, and the Hope of Spring graces us all. I hate hearing about your magnolias. Ours began blooming about a month ago. The air is fragrant with them. Hoping the drought won't cause them to drop petals too soon. They usually bloom for a few months at least. The bees, wasps and other pollinators enjoy them. No matter how diligently I tried, I was never able to take a photo of the inside of a blossom without finding the treasures of pollinators on the interior LOL Most of our magnolias are two southern varieties, but we do have one which is from mideastern states, and blooms pink. Hoping all is well with you. Please know I think of you and Greg often, and carry you in my heart. huggers, de
