bright hopes

Today I am using more stickers that I bought for my junk journals that I thought would work nicely with this film strip die, trying to come up with more ideas for the guy cards I need for birthdays :) I thought the tickets looked a little bare so I stamped the dragonfly and cut with a matching die and colored him adding a little sparkle pen to the wings, adding the sentiment across the filmstrip.

  • Elizabeth Craft Designs - Planner Filmstrip dies
  • Amazon sticker pack
  • Crafter's companion - Dragon fly stamp and die set , colored w/markers and Sparkle pen for wings
  • 49 and Market - Ticket Essentials
  • Tim Holtz - Clippings sticker book (sentiment)

I would like to share with the Alphabet Challenge Air

Thanks so much for taking the time to stop by today,

Connie

The background makes me think of a clock. The film strip and the tickets on it are a great combination. Well done, Connie!

Always have loved a filmstrip die--I just think they are the coolest! Tickets always look great on a card or LO, tucked in and stamped on! And a dragonfly too--love them! This is a FAB card all over!

Fabulous masculine card Connie, love the film strip and tickets and dragon flies are perfect for men instead of butterfly.

What a wonderful card for a gentleman! I love the vintage touch with the filmroll, the tickets, and the oldfashioned background paper. I'm glad you decided to add the dragonfly die, it makes the nature theme complete. The combination of green and brown shades creates such a great atmosphere, and I feel like those images on the film were made on an expedition to foreign lands. Thanks for joining the Alphabet challenge.

What an inspiring masculine idea in your bright hopes card, and the filmstrip die works perfectly with the ticket stickers while the dragonfly adds a great touch of movement and sparkle that brings the whole design together with creative energy.
