We have been on vacation the past week, we went down to Alabama were some of our family moved from Michigan. It was very HOT and HUMID about what it is like here now this week so we didn't get much relief coming back home to Illinois like we were hoping. I am trying my best to get caught up on everyone's blogs, but it may take me a few days.
I managed to get all my cards done before I left but didn't get pictures. Our Challenge this month in my stamping group was to use any animal other than birds in our card. I just so happen to have quite a few I could choose from these are the ones I did choose.
- Penny Black - Jolly Follies stamp set, colored w/markers
- Stickles - Crystal for snow
- Spectrum Clear Sparkle pen on the light
- Kat Scrappiness - Mini Slimline Double stitched dies
- Paper Pizazz - Red Plaid paper
- DCWV - Green Star paper
- Spellbinders - Ribbon Trio die
- Burlap strip
I would like to share this card with the Penny Black Saturday Challenge Use Pattern papers
- Newton's Nook - Holiday Post stamp set, colored w/Aqua pens on watercolor paper
- My Favorite things - Cross- stitch Rectangle die

Sharing a side view so you can see the dimension.
This last card I did before she shared the challenge of the month with us.
I forgot to write down the name but it is those scratch off cards I had bought at Michaels store that I shared in earlier Christmas posts.
Take care and all those in the line of this HOT weather I pray you all stay well.
Thanks so much for stopping by,
Connie

These turned out so sweet, Connie! The mix of stamp sets and papers is wonderful, and the sparkle touches are perfect for Christmas cards. The reindeer 3D piece is especially charming. Hope you’re staying cool in this heat — thanks for sharing your beautiful work!

Oh, you have some cuties here, Connie, and those last two ornament cards are gorgeous! There's no shortage of critters in my stamp room! I hope you get some relief from the heat and humidity soon. The weather is wreaking havoc all over the place!
I like them all, very nice cards!
Have a nice week.
Wonderful Christmas cards. I do love the flowery colors of summer but nothing beats the bright red and greens of Christmas. Your coloring is super fine! And you inspired me to dig out my Stickles. I have not used them in a long time. Actually, I forgot I had them!
Nice to enjoy a vacation and even better if you see/visit family.
Sorry about the hot and humid weather though ...
A very nice collection of Christmas cards.
The way the weeks go we will be welcoming December before we know it!!!
What a thought!!!
All the best Jan

Gosh these are all so fabulous! Loving the sweet ones with the cute and adorable critters--the plaid papers really pack a WOW! Great designs! Santa and Reindeer are so cool with the 3D effect and your Ornament is magnificent, really beautiful! Stay cool!

Great cards! I especially love your PB fella, all joyful and everything. And I'm feeling your heat, with no humidity fortunately.
oooooh you are going to have so many cards made by the time christmas is here!! these are all so lovely, i like that some are really fun. santa is gorgeous!!
Your mix of critter images makes this Christmas collection wonderfully lively, and the plaid papers, stitched dies, and sparkle accents give each card its own personality; the 3D reindeer bauble is especially charming with all that dimensional layering.
