Once again broke out some of the pretty printed die cuts from a card making magazine for my card today. I also picked up these pretty shaped border dies, I liked the rounded edges. The sentiment sticker was silver so I colored it with my markers before adding to the tag so that it matched the border sticker I used.
Quick cards - Kaisercraft Sweet Pea collection, flowers, tag and papers
Pink Fresh Studio - Classic edgers dies
Star Form - Glitter border stickers
Stamp on it - Sentiment sticker, colored w/marker
Adding another picture so that you can hopefully see the shimmer in the bottom border sticker.
Thanks so much once again for stopping by, Hope your week is going well,
Connie

Back Home
After our family reunion while we were in Michigan we were heading back to my brothers house where we were staying and we decided to go by our first apartment we had when we first were married. The town is right next to the town we grew up in. Our first stop was the Dam and there was a big tree that was stuck in it, they had resent flooding there too.
Then we headed to the park in town which just happens to be across the street from our old apartment. They are in the middle of building a little heritage town with old buildings from the county, these are a few of them.
We have lived all over the world being in the Air Force but we always call the place we grew up as being our home.
We have been away for another week in Minnesota this time, I haven't down loaded the pictures yet but thought I would share the pictures from Michigan first. So I will try to do that in between card postings :)
Thanks so much for taking the time to stop by and hope you all are well.

The end
Do you sometimes save your supplies or that last thing of a bunch because it will be the end of them once you use it? I have had these group of Penny Black stickers for many years, they have such beautiful artwork in them, and this was my last in the series and I am using the last today.
I added the sticker to a green die for framing, the little strip at the bottom is even a sticker I place on some of the brown background strip so that it would reach to the end of the card.
Penny Black - Stickeroos
Graphic 45 - Botanical Tea paper (text)
BasicGrey- Periphery paper strips
Spellbinders - Labels one die
Gina K - Tag lines sentiment stamp

Colorful
I find it hard to come up with good blog post names but when looking at this card that is all I could come up with, LOL!
This is for my Great niece who has turned 10, she is such a sweetie, just recently in a Facebook post she was wearing quite the colorful outfits so I am hoping she liked this.
I added a bit of crystal drops to the heart balloon. I am not sure what this animal is supposed to be but he is cute. The butterfly embellishments were given to me, the little flower was part of the round die cuts, I added a little gem to it.
Mama Elephant - Up we go stamp set, colored w/markers
Spellbinders - Picot edge circle dies
American crafts - Stitched butterflies
My Favorite things - More essentials sentiments
Cloud 9 designs - Christy & Friends paper
Nuvo crystal glaze on balloon
Green gem on flower
Wishing all my American friends a very Happy Independence day, hope you all have safe and happy celebrations.

Sweet Sister
I made this card for my Sister and was able to even hand deliver it, I bought these dies at the Scrapbook convention and was waiting to use them until my sisters card. I started cutting out all these shapes with yellow papers, thinking I would use them for the flowers when I decided to check out the video on how to put them together because I couldn't figure it out and realized those were the bases for the tiny flowers you make, so here I was with all these yellow pieces I had cut out, I put them aside and started cutting them all over again in green this time, shaping them so that the flowers would be puffed up in a circle, I still wanted to use yellow for the bigger flowers so I cut the little flowers out of purple, after gluing them all on I took a extra fine purple sharpie and added center dots to all the flowers.
The basket die cut was bought at the same time, I did a touch of inking to the basket. There are little leaves die cuts too and I cut a few of them to put on the end of the branches. Then I started thinking of what flower I wanted to use for the bigger flowers and thought, I should just start shaping those pieces I had already cut to see if I could make a flower from them, and I think they turned out pretty cute. I added a couple of them to the bottom of the basket to kind of ground it. I also punched some bigger leaves out of a different color green paper to go with the bigger flowers.
I shaped the basket with my biggest stylus and added some foam tape behind so that it rounded out in the center and glued the sides directly to the paper. Added the tag and gem and I was done.
Elizabeth Craft designs - Garden notes- Gathering basket die and Countryscapes Mini Botanicals dies
Martha Stewart - leaf punch (veins using stylus)
Our daily bread designs - Mini tag sentiment and mini tag die
Ms. Sparkle & co. - Marble paper
Paper Studio - Gem
Can you quite believe it is July already. Hope this month is off to a good start for you,
Thanks so much for dropping by,
