Back to Birthday

This is a card that went out earlier this month to my youngest nephew, as you can see he is turned 13 this year.

K&co. -- Birthday and celebrate vellum sticker (sentiment)
Spellbinders -- Classic Rectangles lg and Lg. Deckled Rectangles
Fiskars -- Border punch
My Mind's Eye-- Boy crazy paper
DCWV -- Bright's mat stack paper
Making memories -- Alphabet rubons ( number 13!)
Fiskars -- All boy arrow stamp
Ki -- metal accents

Well I received a bit of sad news on the 26th, Spellbinders is disbanding the Action Team I was on so I will no longer be doing the Demonstrations at Hobby Lobby and Michaels anymore, I didn't realize how much I loved sharing the fun of making items with the dies until I was told I was no longer needed.  So I will be doing my last demo's for January and I will be done.  I keep wondering if I would like to work at my Local Scrapbook store part time, who knows what the new year will bring.

Wishing you all a wonderful weekend!
Thanks so much for taking the time to stop by,

Connie

What a fabulous vellum sticker that is. It's a great card for a 13 year old boy. Sorry about losing your Spellbinders gig. All I want to do is retire, but I, too, have thought it might be fun to do part time in our local papercrafts store. At least you have the option to quit if you want to.

Dear Connie,
haven't been visting blogs in ages just don't seem to have the time for anything anymore.I have not posted a card since forever. had some issue with my blog I just could not get into my files.Someone told I should try to surf on chrome instead of internet explorer, but I don't like it.Hope you could enjoy some of your Christmas I understand it must have been hard being the first Christmas without your dad.
I really like your cards they are all so pretty.
Our oldest son is getting married in September and we are really excited.
Take care and have a Happy New Year !

Great card Connie. Sorry about the Spellbinders gig but as you know, when one door closes another one opens and I know you will be great! You are so creative and when that next door does open...they will be sooo lucky to have you : ). Hugs, xx
