In my Prayers

Our Friends moved to Turkey to teach English and she has went through a triple bypass, replaced a heart valve, and repair of two others, she is in her 50's.  I wish they would have come home to have the surgery done but she felt comfortable having it there where the Doctor who has been seeing her these past few years will do the surgery and  the hospital is known for their heart treatments. She was in intensive care longer than they thought she would be, but she is now on the main floor and trying to walk again.

In this card I used only the bottom half of the memory box die, and it was colored w/markers.

Memory Box-- Caseta Bloom die (bottom half) colored w/markers
Taylored Expressions -- many mini occasions sentiment stamp
Scalloped circle punch
Martha Stewart -- butterfly punch
Scrap of paper
Distress inks -- old paper

We are suppose to have cooler temps this week in the low 80's :)  we have a drive in here in town and we haven't been in many years so we are thinking about doing it this week, have to take advantage of these beautiful nights.

Hope all is well where you are and you are having a great start to your week,
Thanks so much for stopping by today,

Connie

So pretty Connie. Love that die-cut flower and the coloring. The half circle looks great with the greeting. The temp is down here too... and raining!

Beautiful card, Connie! I like how the flowers and butterfly are on white paper because it makes them pop out in a lovely way.

Praying for your dear friend as she recovers! Hugs to you!

What a beautiful card to send a heartfelt message to your friend at such a time. Gosh, she's been through so much at her age! Lovely design and floral die cuts which are made even prettier with your coloring. I like the sentiment in the half circle at the top, too.

That's a perfect card Connie. Your friend has gone to teach even in this hard situation! May God give her good health and the strength she needs.
