Birthday Delight

For my great niece that is now a teenager :)  Have you ever had this happen, I had finished coloring the cat and went on to color other portions of the card, decided to go back and add a little brown to the cat and as you can see it messed up a bit. That sad thing is I didn't really notice it until I had the whole card put together.  I was using Spectrum noir pens.  I had this happen to me before but noticed it right away, it like takes a way the other coloring or moves it around, I don't know, but instead of trying to rip it off and start over I just left it alone.

Inky Antics -- Birthday Delights stamp, colored w/markers
g.c.d. -- Funhouse papers
Spellbinders -- Label 18
Martha Stewart -- border punch
Recollections -- Button Brads

We are having rain all day today, but it didn't stop me from heading to my Local Stamp store that was having a Yard Sale, bought some used stamps, embossing folders and one pad of paper, even though I told myself I need to use the papers I have before buying anymore.

Hope your having a nice weekend whatever the weather.

Thanks so much for stopping by and letting me know you did,

Connie

I love the card, Connie. Would never had known that you "messed up". The coloring looks wonderful to me.... just some fun shading on kitty's face.

Oh, sweet Connie, I love it! And I agree with Susan...I think it's added shading to his face. If you had not mentioned it, I don't think I would have noticed. It's a darling card, and surely your niece will LOVE it! It's so sweet! Hugs...and so glad you had a great time today...even with the rain!

It looks absolutely adorable to me and I had to click up very close to even guess at which part might be messed up. I bet your teen niece will love this! Such a cute kitty, and the cake looks so pretty and delicious!

Hi Connie, love the card...it is beautifully done but do know how a small mistake can annoy you..

Just an idea, seeing as it does bug you.. To 3d it.. Like on this post here, I love 3d'ing cute images like this.

So ink up another stamp, and colour the section and layer it on top. Have covered up errors like this before.

Super cute card Connie. Love the kitty and the coloring. The tiny buttons look perfect. Oh, it's so hard to control ourselves, isn't it? I slap my hand every day not to place an on-line order. :)
