Button Flowers

I found the link for the directions of these flowers on Pinterest and thought they were very cute, this is my first and only try and at making them and I don't think it turned out too bad.  Some tips I found useful is make sure the holes in your buttons are fairly big, you won't be able to use tiny buttons.  You also will need a very small hook and thin crochet cotton.  When my mother in law passed away she had alot of this thin crochet thread left and my sister in law gave it all to me, so I can make quite a few of these :)  The directions for English is all the way at the end of the posting so you will have to scroll down.  Here is the link to the flower tutorial .

I am sharing this post over at Stepahnie's Roses of Inspiration .  If you have time there are so many interesting blogs to check out.

This is a darling card, my friend! I love the crocheted flower - clever idea. You sent me several flowers made by you and if I hadn't of used them up already I would have made a card like this :) What a great inspiration!

Thank you for sharing with Roses of Inspiration. I LOVE having you there. Hugs!

That is so pretty ~ clever girl! I haven't learnt to crochet.
Connie, while I was away on vacation I saw a necklace made of crocheted flowers very similar, perhaps a little smaller, in different shades of blue.
I was tempted to purchase! The flowers were spaced out with single chain in between.

Oh, my gosh! So cute, you clever, crafty person! I haven't crocheted since I was a kid and don't remember a thing about it. Love the light, pretty colors on this.
