Forgotten Treasures/ Baby

I needed a baby card for a young couple that is having a baby soon.  I decided to go to the baby stickers I had collected many years ago and the paper I got free from an order at Ellen Hutson's site, the little images of rattle and booties at the bottom were cut out of the paper pad.  She is having a boy.

Frances Meyer -- Blue baby stickers
Crate paper -- Little boy blue paper pad
Spellbinders -- Creative Labels One
Recollections -- lace
David Tutera -- Celebrate sentiment

I did a little sponging of ink around the card and sentiment.

I just copied the last update from yesterday about Evelyn:

We have had a few questions about how much food Evelyn is getting. Her feeds are continuous through the feeding tube except for when she is able to take a bottle, then the feeding tube is paused for an hour. It takes approximately 29.5ml to make 1oz. In a 24 hour period at 8ml she will get 6.5 oz for the entire day. At 9ml an hour she will get 7.3 oz for the day. She would eat 2-3oz at a time if the doctors would let her, but her body can't tolerate that yet. They are increasing her now to see how much her body will tolerate but trying not to push her too much too fast.

After posting I checked my blog and it looks like all that I wrote after this paragraph that I copied and pasted from facebook left the rest of my post highlighted, not sure what happened there, can't seem to fix it either, sorry about that.

She also had a visitor from the St. Louis Cardinals Baseball team yesterday, so they had quite the excitement around there, they are big Cardinals fans :)

I either caught something or am a bit dehydrated from all that we have been doing outside in this heat.  I am trying to drink more today and see if that is it, so it will be an all indoor day today for me.

Hope you are doing well and staying cool, it sounds like most of the country is dealing with this heat.

Thanks so much for taking the time to stop by and would love to hear from you!

I love the die you used and the sweet blue and stickers. Nice touch to add the cut outs from the paper. Baby cards are some of my favorite to make. Baby Evelyn is progressing nicely. That's good news!

Connie, another really sweet card for the new baby boy. Since I haven't been visiting you for too long, I had to read back to get the whole story on little Evelyn. What a precious little girl and so sorry that she is having to go through all this, especially for her parents. Sounds as though she is doing better and hopefully she will be strong once again. My thoughts and prayers are with you all..Happy Weekend..Judy

I am rarely outdoors these days. If we wander out, it's either early morning or in the evening!! I was happy to see an update about the baby, this must be so difficult for her family!!

The card you made is adorable.....a very creative way to use up so of the old stock stuff!!
