I realized the other day that I hadn't used any of my older supplies (forgotten treasures) in awhile so I added some of these chipboard pieces to my card, they have been painted. Yellow flower center and the swirls (leaves).
I saw the glitter tulle at Walmart in the Halloween supplies and wondered if I could use it on my card in some way. I tried using my Spellbinders dies to cut flowers but it couldn't quite do it, so I went with the Tim Holtz tattered florals steel dies and it worked I was able to cut them all in one pass. They didn't quite look like flowers when I layered them and I had one white flower left from another project so I used that and then I was looking around for a smaller center and that is when I came across the chipboard pieces I haven't used in some time, so I painted it yellow and added some pen work to it. The brad was also colored with markers.
I need some more ideas of what I can do with this tulle because I don't know how I think of it in flowers, I may have to use it for home decor. If you are thinking of purchasing some I will let you know that the glitter comes off very easily and was over everything on my desk and myself by the time I was finished.

On to our Yellowstone part of the trip:
We had a bit of a drive to Yellowstone so to break it up we decided to stop by Devil's Tower, my hubby said we had to because it was in Close Encounters, yep my hubby is a Sci Fi fan :)
First Stop in Yellowstone was the Sulphur springs, oh my the smell was just awful, this one was just bubbling all over
This was named Dragon's mouth spring, and as you were walking up the sound was just like on a dragon movie, it was the way the water was being pushed out of the hole here, very cool
Gorgeous waterfall you walked along it until you got to this point where you could see it head on, I can't tell you how many pictures I took here but I thought this one showed how huge and amazing it is.
Old Faithful just starting
Here it is a little higher, all the other shots I have are not centered and not good, I just snapped pictures as I watched it so I didn't get them lined up well.
That evening we stayed in Jackson Hole and all around town were these Antlers in shapes of things, this is the only picture I got because we were at a stop light. I never did ask if they were real antlers, but I thought it was cool, something you don't see everyday :)
Next time will be the Grand Tetons.
Thanks so much for stopping by and leaving your comments to let me know you did,
Connie

Connie, what a beautiful card, and I really love the color combination. I know about glitter and how it can get all over. I recently had a mishap with it myself when I spilled just a little bit of fine MS glitter...still finding it...ha! What an amazing trip and fabulous photos. I so enjoy seeing them and the beauty God has created for us here on earth. I can only begin to imagine the beauty of heaven! Hugs, sweet friend!
What great pictures, my friend. I loved seeing the antlers for they brought back many memories... My parents and I used to go to Jackson Hole during the winter to go skiing - what sweet times :)
Your card is just lovely, dear Connie. Happy October! Hugs!
Hi Connie, your card is so sweet - love those tattered flowers! The photos of your trip are wonderful. Amazing scenery and descriptions. My son and wife went to Jackson Hole recently and had photos under the antler arches. Looking forward to seeing the rest of your trip! Hugs xo Karen

Such a pretty card, I have so many "treasures" in my treasure chest!! The vacation images are so beautiful, I have never been to Yellowstone!!
I love your pretty card, Connie! How creative you are!
My late beloved and I visited the Grand Tetons, and really enjoyed hiking in the national park. We also went to Yellowstone for a day. Seeing your pics brought back such sweet memories.
My husband can't wait to go to Yellowstone! That is his dream place to visit in the near future. Love the pictures!
Your card is very pretty and I love the glittered tulle. Really pretty pictures!
Very nice job on the card! Very neat you guys stopped by Devil's Tower, and I enjoyed your photos from Yellowstone!
Your card is beautiful Connie and Yellowstone looks amazing, a magical place.
Connie, what a beautiful card. Those sulphur springs are disgusting, aren't they. We were there a few years ago and Old Faithful did not perform for us like I've seen in pictures. A bit disappointing, but a really beautiful place..Happy Weekend..Judy
Connie, I love the description "Dragon's Mouth Springs".
Your card is sweet. I try to avoid glitter at all costs! :-)
Yep, chipboard flowers and accents are some of my forgotten treasures, too. I have a few too many forgotten treasures. Your card turned out great, and I love the tulle on there. We have visited Yellowstone and it is a most awesome place! Amazing sights at every turn. I've been to that very stop light at Jackson Hole, too, and those most definitely are real antlers. Keep on sharing the photos, Connie. I'm really loving them.
what fascinating pictures you are showing us !
I think this old park is fantastic and amazing to visit .... maybe one day ... :)
As usual your card is so lovely, how can you make so many of them all different one from another, your phantasy has no limit, my dearest Connie !
Have a blessed weekend, sending love and hugs to you
Dany
