Sunflowers

This one went out to my sister in law, I tried to figure out how to put a sentiment on it but just couldn't find a way that I liked so I left it off.

Northwoods -- Sunflower in Glass Vase stamp, colored w/markers
Spellbinders -- Noble rectangles die
Kaiser -- rhinestones
Wink of stella -- clear glitter pen

I have a few more pictures of the Climatron inside the gardens.

Loved the roots on trees too so there are a few pics of strange rooted trees. Sorry I didn't get any of the names.

I loved the different colors in this plant.

I hope you all enjoyed your weekend, we went to Hannibal Missouri, the boyhood home of Mark Twain, neat little town, was interesting to see the town that inspired his books.  I had a fall while leaving one of the stores, there was a step down after you come out of the store and I was walking backwards checking to see if my hubby was behind me and down I went, there was a couple of ladies who helped me up, my hubby had stopped inside the store to look for something and that is why he wasn't behind me.  I little sore and elbow and hand scrapped where I tried to catch myself.  I need to stop this falling business this is the second time this year, LOL...

Wishing you a wonderful week ahead and thanks so much for taking the time to stop by and say Hi :)

I hope you're feeling better, and thank God you did not break any bones!!!! That is my biggest fear, falling and breaking bones!
Your card is beautiful and I love your coloring! The pictures are beautiful, and I'm amazed at the different kinds of trees there are!

Although I adore every single card you have made, I think this one may be my favorite!! I agree with you on the sentiment on the front, it may have crowded the front and it looks perfect the way that it is!!

That sounds like a wrist braking kind of fall, good thing for you that did not happen!! And I just want to add that you sure do have a lot of relatives, you make a ton of cards!!

Beautiful colouring on this lovely vase of sunflowers! I like it without the sentiment too....the intricate die work is a great framing element!

Oh, I always love flowers in vases, and sunflowers even better! Those Northwoods stamps are generally rather large. It fills up the card front beautifully and looks great with the die cut frame. Really love that frame. I'm trying to get over always wanting a sentiment on the front. This one certainly doesn't need it.

More fantastic photos! That is one amazing place! Sounds like you had a nice trip over the weekend, too. Oops, guess you had more than one kind of trip. I didn't mean it like that, actually. I'm sorry about your fall and glad you didn't hurt yourself too badly. Yes, you must get over this falling thing.

Oh Connie, so sorry you took a fall. Glad you did not break an arm or leg. Last time I feel off my porch step, I broke my ankle. That was 2006. Thankfully not fallen again even though it did not slow me down. LOL
Love your sunflower card. Your SIL will love it. Lovely pics from the gardens too.
Take good care and have a blessed day. xo

Oh Connie, I am glad you are okay and nothing was seriously injured! Bless those sweet ladies :)

Your card is beautiful, my friend. Sunflowers are so "fall" to me and this is the perfect card to embrace the lovely autumn season. Hugs to you!

Oh, precious Connie, I'm so sorry about the nasty fall and just praise God for the sweet ladies who were able to help you. And praise God that you weren't hurt badly. So glad Greg was there to help you once he realized you had slipped, and you do have to be more careful. Having fallen myself, I know I am far more aware of it and hang on to things more than I used to. Now, your card is gorgeous, and I just love sunflowers. They grow naturally here in South Florida, and my DH actually has grown them from seeds. What a delight. I love your coloring and the beautiful die frame. And it really doesn't need anything else but the sweet gems you've used. And what gorgeous photos of the Climatron. What beauty! So glad you've enjoyed these amazing sights! Hugs and prayers, sweet friend!

Connie, I do love sunflowers. Your card is gorgeous!

The tree roots are a bit scary to me. I am not sure why. :-)

Oh do be careful. I am rather clumsy but haven't fallen lately.

My dearest Connie, your card is so ... gorgeous, I love sunflowes, they seem to catch the last reminder of the Summer, and the 'lace' you've put on it , gives such a vintage and in the meanwhile country touch, absolutely wonderful !
Take care, darling !
sending love to you and warm hugs
