Yes I am doing a coloring page from the Awesome Blossoms colorist I bought at the Scrapbooking convention. Our Pastors wife's birthday isn't until this week but I gave her the card yesterday so I can share :)
I started out with this paper there were so many different colors on the flowers so I thought I would just pull the colors from it and match them, welllll as you can see after cutting out the panel it took up most of the card. I may have to make bigger cards using these panels from now on :)
There are little labels in this pack so that you can add sentiment to your cards and this one matched the style of this panel, so I cut it out and sponged a little ink into the center to darken it a little more than the background panel and stamped my sentiment, I also added some foam tape to the back to give it a little dimension.
Hot off the press -- Awesome Blossoms for Colorist pad, colored w/markers
Gina Marie -- Birthday words sentiment stamp
BasicGrey -- Picadilly paper
Hope you had a good weekend and they week ahead brings much joy!!
Thanks so much for stopping by and leaving me a little comment to let me know you did,
Connie

Love this, Connie! Oh, my gosh, it's so colorful and pretty! I've been seeing more and more of those coloring books all over, even in the grocery stores up by the check stands. Your card is fabulous!
I always love seeing your colouring in pieces! You are so expert at it, a real professional! It all comes together so sweetly! Well done Connie!

Oh, Connie, this is beautiful, and I love the DP you've used behind as your color palette! What beautiful designs and wonderful colors you've used! These really do make a gorgeous card, and I know your pastor's wife must have loved it and will cherish it! And, yes, sometimes our cards do need to be larger depending on what we use (been there recently too!!) Hugs, sweet friend!
wow! What a gorgeous creation, Connie! I've never heard of the "colorist" and really like how you were able to include all the black details in this card! The shapes, colors and everything make the card so lively - almost like the flowers are bursting from the page! It's a gorgeous creation! Is it the same thing as an adult coloring book? (sorry to be so ignorant).
Your pastor's wife will enjoy a handmade design as beautiful as this! May she enjoy many more birthdays! hugs, de
Connie, I have been stamping lately. I really like your idea of using some graphics from the beautiful coloring books. Lovely card!
The colours you've used are perfect.
This is one of my favourites.
All the best Jan
