Beach Gals

When trying to decide what to do for some upcoming birthdays in my cardmaking group I came across this Graphic 45 paper pack with some fun swim pics, beach clipart and old postcard so I decided to use them for a couple of cards.

Graphics 45 -- On the boardwalk paper pack
Taylored expressions -- Many mini's occasions sentiment stamp (1st card)
Spellbinders -- Square die (1st card)
Hero Arts -- It's your day sentiment stamp (2nd card) and gems

My toe is doing so much better today, what a difference a couple of days can make, I was just getting discouraged because I didn't think I was going to have any problems with it.

Hope your week is off to a good start, Thanks ever so much for stopping by and leaving a comment to let me know you did,

Connie

ooooh, Connie! I am in love with this photo. My grandmother was a flapper (scandalous to her family!) and wore a bathing outfit like this, much to her family's horror! I so admire her courage. Your card reminds me of her strength of character, and I really like the colors you've used in your creation. Thank so much for sharing your fun masterpiece! hugs, de

Glad you're on the mend! Fabulous creations, I am really loving that Graphics 45 Paper. Really neat birthday cards, Connie. (oh and of course Donna's grandmother was a flapper...she's so funny!)

Beautiful card Connie :-)
I'm glad to hear your toe is feeling better... I have a shoulder that is giving me a heck of a time lately. You just never appreciate your body parts like toes and shoulders until they hurt lol

Firstly I am so pleased your toe is doing well, may it continue to heal.

Secondly I think these older designs are such fun!

My week has got off to a very hot start, the UK is experiencing high temperatures at the moment. I find salads can be an excellent idea in hot weather!

All the best Jan

Love those twenties (thirties?) girls, I don't think I could rock a costume like that! Great design, too, Connie. Very jaunty and fun!
I think I must have missed out on your 'toe' episode, but I hope your poor toe feels better for good, now. Toes can be very painful! Not long ago I cracked my baby toe, catching it on the stairs...its not broken but sprained or strained (never know which is which.) Getting better now, as I hope you will.
