This window is one of those dies that my hubby bought to use with his art work and well now I am using it :) I decided to go with metallic papers for the window and added some layered florals. I like the embossing that is already on these flowers. The embossing folder has been inked with some gray ink before embossing. The little flowers were scraps from left over die cutting that I saved to use for small flowers, I added stickles to the centers.
Poppystamps -- Grand Gothic Luminary and Lovely Trendils dies
Impression Obsession -- Layered Floral dies
DCWV -- Metallic stack papers
Sizzix -- Bricked embossing folder inked with London fog memento ink
Stickles -- Diamond
We have rain last night and this morning and it was just in time the garden was ready for a good drink. They said the humidity was going to be better this morning, can't say I can tell a difference but we are down to 77 this morning so that is better than the 80's. Hope you all enjoyed a great weekend and that the week ahead is a great one!
Thanks so much for taking the time to stop by,
Connie

What a beautiful simply statement this card makes! Great job! Nice of hubby to 'share'! LOL Still HOT/HUMID here in Ohio ... my weather app shows 87 currently but Feels Like 95! Uuugh no wonder all my windows are misty & wet. Hiding in my cave today for sure! Have a great day!

Gorgeous Connie. Love the colour of the window frame and the brick background sets it off perfectly.
Another really special and really pretty card Connie. The wall and the window look so real, and you choose the perfect color for the flowers!! We had quite the storm ourselves this morning and it's coming down in bucket fulls right now!! And it is still so h.o.t.
This is such a beautiful card, Connie. Love those florals and the inked brick background. Totally awesome!!
Hello Connie ~ this is beautiful, it reminds me of an old English village church ~ plenty of them around here! I love Gothic shaped windows!
You made a very elegant card, well done.
Connie, this is gorgeous! I love the stone wall background and that window is fabulous with the flowers. Just beautiful! How fun that you and your hubby can share toys!!
I love the window! The arrangement of flowers along the window sill is just the right touch of beauty!
Enjoy your week Connie!
Love the arched window set on the brick! Perfect that you cut the window in silver. Beautiful! Your inking of the embossing folder makes it so realistic. I can never get that to turn out right. Your flower arrangement is just right, and it's so cool that those tiny flowers have silver in them to bring it all together. Nice!
Beautiful card. Love that window with the textured background. The flowers are a nice touch. It's been hot and humid here... blah! Can't stand it.
Isn't it great you can share your hubby's art supplies. This card is so very pretty, Connie. The window is gorgeous and the bricks look so lifelike.
