I also found these Paint 'n Press Transfers at the dollar store, I wasn't sure what they were when I bought them but there are two steps to these. The way the instructions sound I think you are meant to use them on wood or other surfaces like that but they worked on my cardstock fine.
The process is rubbing off the first layer (the outline of the flower) then it says to paint it, but I used markers. Then you line up the detailed layer and rub that over it, so you kind of have to guess where the middle of the flowers and leaves are going to be, but I don't think I did too bad. I don't know if it was because I have had these for a long time or that is how much work goes into it but just let's say my arm and hand got quite the work out doing these rub ons.
I used two separate dies below to make the frame.
Delta -- Paint 'n Press Transfer-- Field of Sunflowers
Raspberry Road Designs paper
Oval punch
Spellbinders -- Classic oval lg. and Lacey ovals dies (for frame)
Hero Arts -- Birthday messages sentiment stamp
Enamel accents -- white
This just shows how we can use items that were meant for other projects on our cards, it has been fun playing with things other than stamps, but they are starting to feel neglected, may have to turn back to them for a little while :)
Terribly humid once again but I really need to get out and do some yard work this morning, just waiting for a decent time to start, don't want to be out there too early and bug my neighbors :)
Hope your week is off to a wonderful start, thanks so much for taking the time to stop by today,
Connie

this is a pretty one connie, perfect for this time of year. our sunflowers are just starting to fade...this is a great way to keep them blooming forever!!!!
Oh wow....yes treasures for sure! LOVE the sunflowers and your die cut frame....really pretty!
Such a pretty card Connie. I love sunflowers, and the frame is so pretty.
Sadly, we don't have anything near as nice in our 'Pound' shops in the UK, you're very lucky.
Sort of like two-step stamps only transfers. Love it! You did a beautiful job with these, Connie. The sunflowers are so pretty! I giggled at how you weren't exactly sure what they were, but you got them, anyway. A true crafter! I really love how you did the frame. That's just so pretty! I need to get out some of my older dies and use them.
Beautiful Connie! Don't you love little 'finds' like that @ the $ store! : )
I love sunflowers. Turned out a beautiful creation~ Have a great week! Karen O
Well look at you ... as Leslie said ... 'a sign of a true crafter'! Not sure what it is but I'm buying it and will figure it out later ... oh my goodness how many times have I said and done that myself! LOL
Well I would say you figured it out quite nicely ... even if it was meant for other mediums you made a beautiful card out of it! GREAT JOB and awesome inspiration!
Yes I too need to get outside and do some work ... too wet in the early hours so a few hours before the sun goes down I will get out there and mow and hopefully do a bit of weeding ... those dang things certainly grow better than my yard or flowers do! LOL Happy Day!
I haven't seen that frame die used in a long time......I used to own it but sold it at one of my garage sales. That always happens; I sell something then I like how it's used on a card I see and I go and buy it again. Very pretty card Connie.
A sunflower theme here Connie ... I like it.
I hope you were able to get some work done in the yard before it got far too humid. Hope it cools down soon for you.
All the best Jan
Great idea to use sunflowers at the moment and they did turn out well! Cute little oval frame works well too.
its tough trying to do any work outside with so much humidity - you have my sympathies!
They are really pretty! Thanks for sharing how to use them,I have not seen them before. Good for you for using your supplies up!
Another work of art!! Thanks so much for dropping by again!!
Hugs,
Debbie
Connie, the sunflowers are so pretty! Very lovely birthday card! It's been so hot and humid here. Today though, is quite cool though still early. Plenty of time left to heat up! Fall is coming....
