Watercolor panels

I used my Spectrum Aqua markers on this panel from Taylored Expressions, I colored directly and took my waterpen to move the color around.  The corner decorations are the inside of the Marvelous Square die by Spellbinder.

Taylored Expressions -- Keep in touch Watercolor Panel, colored w/spectrum Aqua markers
DCWV -- The Primrose paper
Spellbinders -- Marvelous Squares die (corners)

We have had rain the last couple of mornings but it has mainly been a nice soft steady rain, my heart goes out to those dealing with the flooding, a couple girls from my cardmaking group are having to deal with it and they are all told not to get out, and some of the shelters are even being effected and are getting flooded.

Hope you are enjoying a peaceful Sunday, Thanks so much for taking the time to stop by today,

Connie

Oh, Connie, what a sweet card indeed, and I too love your color combination. And what sweet corner dies that really add a lovely touch to your card. Beautiful! I am so sorry about the terrible flooding, and I saw on the weather map that there is more coming. I trust your friends will be safe. Praying for so many being affected. Hugs, sweet friend!

Our UK TV has showed some of the flooding ... special prayers and thoughts to all those affected.

Great colour theme for your latest card.

Beautiful water color technique, and a gorgeous creation, Connie! I love that sentiment - so festive and the blow tones make it feel extra cool for these hot days! Beautifully done. I'm very sorry to hear about the flooding, Connie. I hope it soon lets up. Some areas south of us have flooded as well, but we are not having any problems, thank goodness. I always feel badly for those who have to evacuate, and hope that we will never have to do that.

Thanks again for the pretty inspiration today! hugs, de

I love the colors of markers you've used... lovely. I wish a lot of that rain could be transported to us here in California, we sure could use it!

I absolutely love your watercoloring on this, Connie! It's perfect! Such a cute birthday image, too. I've been watching the flooding on the news and it makes me stop and count my blessings while my heart goes out to those in so much distress.

Fantastic card Connie. Love the whimsical image and the blue/yellow hues. The corner die-cuts look so pretty. It is indeed sad about the flooding... wish we could just send some rain to parts that in drought...
