It has been a long time since I have last posted a card I made for someone that comes to my blog often and leaves me with such encouragement. You can read about it more on this post. I had planned on making a card for everyone of you by the end of the year but I am not sure I will be able to do that so I will be continuing this into next year. I have another one on it's way to someone and as soon as they get it I will post.
Today's card I am sharing went out to Celeste over at Southern Day Dreams. If you are looking for wonderful decorating ideas you need to head over to her blog, she has such great inspiration. She also does Beautiful painting and creations too that she sells in her Etsy store, perfect way to shop for upcoming Christmas presents :) I am in Awe of her tole paintings the most on all kinds of objects too, I use to do tole painting about 20 some years ago and I know the work that goes into it. So stop by her blog and check it out and her Etsy store.
I first made the crocheted button flowers following this You tube video. I had made more but I just couldn't get a pleasing bouquet using more so you will probably see them on upcoming cards :)
My hubby made a template of a vase for me so that is what i used for the vase, I first covered some thick board with paper and then traced the vase and cut it out.
I used memory thread and twisted it around a pencil to give some curl to it, I love that stuff for filler in a bouquet :) Inked around the outside of the card.
Pink Paislee and London Market papers
Prsma flowers -- small cream flowers
Decorative Choice -- White flower with ribbon
DMC -- Memory Thread
Paper Salon -- simply sentimental stamp
Sequins
Thank you to all of you that take the time to brighten my days with your comments and the friendships I have formed through blogging :) Wishing you a wonderful week ahead.
I also want to thank you for your sympathies you left on the last post after the passing of our sweet little Peanut, she is missed daily, it is so amazing the whole that is left after they are gone.

So pretty Connie. I love those crocheted flowers with the button. I only know how to crocheted flowers... my sweet Mom taught me a while ago... without the button though... this is neat! Love the memory wire and the whole arrangement! Very clever and pretty.
What a fun (and perfect) way to use those crochet button flowers! I've seen tutorials for them, but haven't tried them yet! Love your idea of making a card bouquet with them!
Your cards are so special Connie, this one is beautiful!! I really appreciate all different techniques you used!!
The crocheted flowers are really fun and I like that the vase design is your DH's, so this is a collaborative card! I will pop over and check out your friend's card!
Well aren't you a sweetheart! What a kind gesture and your card is FABULOUS! Nice of hubby to design that template for you and those crochet button flowers are VERY creative! Well done! Hope you're off to a good start to your week. We still have snow on the ground and it's very cold/windy but oh well ... it is the end of November and I am in Ohio! LOL HUGS
A beautiful mixed media work of art, Connie! Celeste will be over the moon about the card - and such a nice promotion for her blog! Isn't it nice that it comes from your hubby, too, since he had a hand in creating the vase? I checked out Celeste's blog - and how amazing her projects are!
Hoping you enjoy a Thanksgiving full of love, and that gratitude continues making her way into your heart every day, Connie! hugs, de

Connie that's beautiful, and a beautiful thought in sending it to C-M.
I am thinking of you as you come to terms with your loss, and prayers are going up too.

I adore your pretty crocheted button flowers and the squiggly vines! I know she loved it, as she stated in her comment. You are so sweet, Connie. Had to take a trip to her blog... girl's got talent!
That is a most beautiful card and the crocheted flowers just perfect, as is the colour pink ... my favourite!
Thinking of you as you come to terms with your loss and sending good thoughts your way for the coming week ahead.
All the best Jan
