Thinking of you

A man at our church had to go through heart surgery to repair blockage of 5 of his arteries, I had heard of a double and triple but never 5 before. This is the card I sent him, he is doing very good now, other than they can't seem to get his blood pressure at a good place, but he looks great.

I first stenciled the rays background and then heat embossed the trees with black embossing powder and added the die cut birds.

Inkadinkado -- Fall Trees silhouette
Tim Holtz -- Rays Stencil
Spellbinders -- A2 matting basics A die
Pebbles Inc. -- Rubon sentiment
Memory Box -- Flying bird dies

Thanks so much for stopping by today and taking the time out to let me know you did,

Connie

Connie,
Perfect card for a gentleman! I hope he does well and has a speedy recovery. I know a few folks who had 5 repaired. Before that, I thought 4 was the max as well. Hope all is well with you!

My dear Connie, you always make the most wonderful cards for men. I just love this one and I'm sure it was a blessing to the gentleman you sent it to.

Enjoy your day, my friend. Hugs!

Oh, sweet Connie, you do make such wonderful masculine cards, and this is wonderful as well. I love the sponging to show the sunshine this man will feel each day he gets stronger and heals. It's beautifully done. And I have heard of heart surgery to repair five blockages...but not often. It's amazing what God has allowed doctors to do today. Praise Him for His mercy, and I know this man and his family are happy he is doing fairly well. Hugs, sweet friend! xoxo
