Masculine card today. I embossed the train with silver embossing powder onto black patterned paper.
Then layered onto silver cardstock. The gears I took some ink to them to give them a bit of a used look to them.
Sorry about the shadow on the right side, I believe that was probably my head, This was the best picture without the bad glare and I have already sent it out so no taking anymore pictures.
Technique Tuesday -- All aboard stamp set w/silver embossing powder
Spellbinders -- Fleur De Lis Rectangles and A2 matting basics A dies
Memory Box-- Mini gears dies
My favorite things -- Label maker sentiments stamp set w/silver ink onto black paper
I thought I would also show some of the goodies from the garden we picked these over a week ago and I have just gone out today and picked another bowl full of the peppers.
The carrots didn't do so well so we didn't do a second planting of them. I was shocked when I turned around and my hubby had picked them all. We are thinking that they are not the best to plant inside these patio planters.
The green tops look really good but the product underneath, not so much. You can see my newly painted deck a little bit. I still need to paint the rails, which I may be able to get done soon cause the temperatures are a little better this week :) We have been able to have the doors and windows open all day today, I am just loving it!! Hope all you that are suffering from the heat out west can get some relief soon like we have.
Thanks for stopping by today!! Hope you are enjoying your weekend,
Connie

Such a creative card, Connie. Love it! Your garden is multiplying isn't it. Those carrots are a wee bit skinny.=) Nice to see you enjoying your cooler Summer days.
What a great masculine card! Nothing beats fresh veggies from the garden. Love the rainbow carrots!
OH WOW ... your card is awesome and those gears are the perfect added touch! DOUBLE WOW ... check out those beautiful veggies! Well done ... isn't it fabulous to be able to go out into the garden and pick fresh veggies like that! Such a wonderful feeling! Happy Day my friend!
love this card. I like the way you embossed in silver over the black. Lovely idea which I would like to try with my SU train. Your peppers really produced nicely. Sorry about the carrots. Wondering if you can any of your produce.
A fabulous masculine card, I love the frame and the cogs.
Superb peppers, they look very tasty!
Wonderful card! Love the embossing. The die cuts are amazing. I love using my older dies. Don't your bell peppers taste completely different from the peppers in the store? Gorgeous carrots, we cannot grow them here. Enjoy your garden! xx
I love your great masculine card. Your peppers look perfect! Oh my! My orange peppers are not doing as well. The carrots may be small, but they are pretty colors.
The frames and gears you used on your masculine card accent the train image perfectly! Great combo!
Love the grays and silver on your card. That train looks really cool framed with those fabulous die cuts! Enjoyed your photos too - so wonderful to have a garden!
Connie, the dies you chose for the mats turned this masculine card absolutely beautiful, yet it still looks masculine. Good eye you have! And, ohhhhh, those peppers! So beautiful and perfect! I use green peppers a lot in cooking. Also love them grilled or roasted. Our weather here on the coast has been beautiful. Not so great in the valley where our son lives. Cooling off a bit, but still getting smoke from fires all over there.
Oh that train looks amazing embossed in silver. I love those dies you used for layering too and the gear accents! This is a great masculine birthday card!
Gorgeous card,Connie!Beautiful green peppers from your garden too!Hugs!
That's a great masculine card ... my dear dad would love it, he adores trains!
Your green peppers look great. Shame about your carrots but I'm sure they still tasted good.
All the best Jan
Connie, how did I miss this post? Yum peppers! And your carrots are gorgeous! I love all the different colors. I wonder if you could add them to a stew and maybe the taste would be better??
PS I like your card too. :-)
