Evening in Michigan

When the sun was starting to set we headed back down to the bridge area to get the sunset. This time of year the sun doesn't set directly across the bridge, but it was still pretty.

Have to get those bird pictures too :)

In this photo you can see the bugs we had to deal with just above the bridge. I am surprised I didn't get more pics of bugs the way they were all around us.

Hubby didn't like where the sun was hitting the bridge and wanted to know if I wanted to try and get on the other side, so we walked quickly back to the van and headed to the other side of the bridge and got there in time.

We were so excited about getting there in time for the sunset that I almost forgot to turn around and get the sun setting on the bridge.

Now onto a quick card I made Using goodies from the Cardmaking & Papercrafts magazine.  The button was sewed onto the paper using floss.

Thanks so much for taking the time to stop by today.  We are off to plant some lavender and a big bush of Ornamental grass, hope they do ok with this extreme heat we are having again today!

What a pretty sunset, Connie! I love your card. I think I have always just faux sewn my buttons onto the card, that is a good idea to actually sew it on!

You sure did get to the other side of the bridge in time! Those sunsets are gorgeous! I always love the late evening shadows, too, and you captured those, as well, with the geese and trees. Looks like the seagull in photo #1 is telling you off about something. Thanks for taking the time to share these photos, Connie!
