Seaside

I am once again sharing a card from a daily coloring calendar but this time it is from a different one, this one is called Cheerful Journey by Lang.  I think the images in this one are a lot more fun and whimsical then the ones in the Color for Calm series, they are all very detailed scenes.  I have one calendar on my computer desk and one that is in my craft room :)

Today's card went to my son in law, they are now living in Connecticut and not to far from the beach and they were excited about this summer going to the beach so that is the theme I went with.
Annie asked in the last post about what I do with my cards, I don't always say who they are going to but 99% of the time every card is sent out, I think I have a total of 3 cards in my stash right now, I have a big family and everyone gets a card from me.  Not to mention quite a few of my church family gets one, especially if they are going through a rough time.  I haven't made as many birthday cards for people in the church this year though.

Summer is quickly coming to a close, I hope you all have enjoyed your summer, and to my friends down under I bet your excited to see spring pop up :)
Thanks so much for taking the time to stop by and say Hi,

Connie

What a wonderful beach scene! It's so sweet and I love the soft color. The black frame really sets it off!

Stopping by your blog to get caught up on all the posts I've missed while I was sick. I love this lovely sea themed card - that striped background goes with your scene perfectly!!

Oh, that's cute! I love the scene. You could easily cut out just part of it, I suppose, but the whole thing is darling. Love how you combined it with the stripes and popped with the black. I like to hear when someone is sending, rather than storing, their cards. I know you send yours almost as soon as you make them. I, too, have very few cards saved up. I gather a lot of addresses and send a host of Bday cards every month -- local friends and blog friends. There's always lots of card occasions, or "just because", and stampers love receiving other stampers' cards. The world needs more happy mail!

What a darling card. It reminds me of living back on Canada's east coast. Yes, indeed, you do send out a ton of cards.
