Spring Hello
It is such a gloomy day here so I thought it would be a good day to post a nice spring card to brighten things up a bit. I went back to my coloring calendar pages for this card, I liked the boots with flowers in them, colored it with my pencils and even tried using my mineral spirits to blend the colors, I didn't know if it would work as these coloring pages are quite thin but it seemed to work pretty well.
The tag I used came in the same paper pack as the background paper. I cut the image out, added it to the tag, punched a border and added my sentiment and a brad to the tag.

I like these images with flowers in boots, they are so fun for spring. This is a great and cheerful card! So sorry it is such bad weather. We were supposed to have rain today, but it has held off all day!

Oooh, Connie, this is pretty! Very fun, too. It has a whimsical, happy look to it. So much of the country is having bad weather, it makes you wonder if it will ever straighten up. It's been nice here.

it's been pretty gloomy here...misty, i don't think we have gotten much rain though!
Oh I love that boot!
I've had to wear my pretty little flowered boots lately to work in the yard as we have had so much moisture.
My boots are usually used for playing in our creek, but I haven't been able to get there as of yet and now with the run off its running much too fast.

Ah, it's so nice to see a spring card with the light yellow and green. Very cute idea to place your image on a tag. It's been raining here all week and we broke a four year record for rain. Grrr.
