Swinging Birthday

I started off last year saying that every other card I make I need to use something old so that I don't neglect all my old goodies I have, it is always fun to create with something you haven't used yet but we can't forget those things that at one time were new :)

When I was going through this paper pack and saw this girl I thought now she is having a great time, looks perfect for a birthday party!  I just cut up the paper pack and used bits and pieces to make this arrangement on my card.

Graphic 45 - Curtain call paper
Sizzix - Rounded tags die
Papercraft inspiration mag. - Greetings stamp

We are in for some crazy weather today, snow, the sleet and ice and finishing off the night with rain.  I was so glad to hear that portions of Australia have been blessed with rain but now they have problems with the ash going into the water and hurting the fish, praying soon things will get back to normal for them, so thankful they are seeing a bit of rain!

Thanks so much for taking out the time to stop by,

What a great vintage card -- and great goal to use those "old" things as well!

Isn’t that a great image! I do love the layout and that is a great sentiment for this, and many card themes.

OMG, this is really great, Connie! Totally fabulous paper and design and I LOVE it! It seems my old stuff is always sneaking into my stamping, whether it's stamps, dies, or papers. Sometimes it seems like I use it more than the new things, but it's all good!

What a GREAT idea ... I should follow our lead! What a great card you have designed! Yep looks like a fun time!! We are having snow, sleet & ice as I write this ... in fact, I hear the snow plow outside right now! Welcome to January in NE Ohio! LOL
Yes it's so sad what's happening in Australia. Been talking to my BFF Aussie Annie (got to meet her in person in 2018) and luckily she's not in the line of fire but close enough to feel the effects of it. SO SO SAD!! I too continue to pray for the fires to all be extinguished and life can get back to normal for them.
