Vintage

I made a card using the other background from yesterday's post. Since Tim's stencils don't cover the whole A2 card I had to figure out what to do with the other side, I went with adding a border die and some ribbon, it needed some extra color I thought and used a tea bag for the doily under my flower ephemera.   I wasn't sure about the background until I finally made it into a card and now I like it :)

Tim Holtz - Gothic Stencil and Botanical layers ephemera(Rose)
Spellbinders - Floral Doily Motifs die cut from used tea bag
Die'sire - Beautiful borders die
Our Daily Bread design - Mini tag sentiment
Martha Stewart - tag punch
Offray - ribbon

I went to see the eye doctor yesterday, he said the scratch on my cornea is healing well but the ones (yes I have multiple) in the white of my eye are not healing, so he took out the contact to see how it felt and I had the stabbing feeling once again, so he went and got another contact and put it in my eye and we are to wait another week and see if it heals, I was too afraid to ask what if it doesn't.  We are finally seeing the sun today after so many gloomy days but the sun or any bright light is still bothering to my eye, so that's a bummer.  I appreciate your prayers.

Thanks so much for taking the time to stop by,

Connie

Ahh, there you are with your gorgeous vintage. This is beautiful, Connie! Holy cow, your eye! Do you know how you scratched it? I don't believe you said. I'm sure it will heal, but sounds like it will take longer than expected. I'm so sorry!

Great way to add class when using the TH stencils, I often wonder why they are the size they are, maybe mostly used for tags...this is stunning..xx
Hope your eye is better.xx

Oh dear Connie so sorry to hear re eye, I’m praying, must confess started praying for your health a while back when you said you weren’t well, funny how Lord in His mercy does that, so your health has been prayed for each day for while.
I’m very behind this year has been busy and I’ve not been well really since November 26th. But Lord knows, the corner will turn when the day is right in Lords eyes.
Lovely card will go back and check on his eye is too. Sorry so bad in commenting when you’re so good at doing it. Appreciate you very much.
Thanks for being a blessing, and may God bless you too.
Hugs, Shaz in Oz.x 😊
