The die cuts out the little holes and the company has cross-stitch designs that they offer that fit right in the tag. My die did not come with the topper, I see that some of them do, so I just cut the top portion of the tag again to give some color to the top so it wasn't all white.
I also cut into the back of the pattern paper to stamp my sentiment into it, added a little ribbon tied with jute and some sparkle gems.
