I just realized that my last 4 post had some type of butterfly in them so I am changing it up today with a more masculine card for my little brother, I decided not to add a sentiment, just thought this looked like a picture and didn't want a sentiment getting in the way.
Spellbinders was having a sale on their stamps and I wasn't quite sure how to use these 3D shading stamps, and yes I bought a couple, but thought for the price it was worth giving them a try. Since I have my Misti stamping tool I was going to try and stamp the different areas with different colors but instead I went with going with browns for my stamping and my framing.
Now I will have to confess that I think the felt on my ink pad maybe going and giving off some extra specks of felt, I am not sure, I tried to remove them so maybe that is part of the stamp, not sure though.
Next time I will have to try some color and see what I think :)

Thanks so much for taking the time to stop by today and saying Hi,

I have been wondering about this line of stamps. I think it looks a bit like an old timey photo with the all brown. I think your brother will like it.
I didnt know Spellbinders sold stamps. These stamps are a real beauty. I love the monotone colour scheme. Looks like an olden day postcard.
Awesome image Connie.

Lovely stamp and gorgeous outcome...SB make some lovely images.xxx
Beautiful Connie! I thought it was a framed picture when I first saw it. I'm sure your brother will love it.
oh connie, i LOVE this card, and so will your brother!! a lot of what you write about is french to me but i always find it quite interesting!!!
the butterflies were not too shabby though??
Connie, such a beautiful card! Did you stamp it with black ink? It almost looks like a charcoal drawing!
Wow, that is an amazing stamp! So perfect for your brother, he could frame it afterwards. I love the scene.
This does remind me of times gone by … a lovely scene.
All the best Jan
Really fabulous, Connie! I've never even heard of this stamp line at Spellbinders. I Googled and saw that there's a whole bunch of them. I live under a rock half the time. I love this just as is. It has a cool vintage look to it. Love it with the frame, too.
I love the bucolic scene for this card, Connie. It is a perfect card for a male.
