Twofer

The challenge over at the Twofer Card challenge blog is to use flowers. You are supposed to use the same stamp, die or stencil, on two different cards, but you must use them on two different design of card.

I went for using the whole flower on a birthday card and just partial of the flower on my thinking of you card.

On my thinking of you card I stamped on watercolor paper and used my Zig clean markers to color the flowers.

  • Stampendous - Zinnia stamp on watercolor paper, colored with Zig clean markers
  • Simon says stamps - You matter stamp and you die

On my birthday card I colored with my Spectrum noir alcohol markers.

  • Stampendous - Zinnia stamp, color w/markers
  • Spellbinders - A2 Devine Eloquence die
  • Papercraft Inspiration - Greetings stamp
  • Sequins

There is a couple days left to join the challenge.

Thanks so much for taking the time to stop by today, and have a wonderful weekend!

Connie

Two fabulous cards here Connie! What lovely coloring on both of them. The lacy frame around the pink flower is so feminine and pretty. Looks like two winners to me!

Two beautiful cards. I love how one is CAS and the other is a bit more dressed up. The red one is my favorite with that elegant frame around the zinnia!

Your composition and coloring of both cards featuring that beautiful zinnia are wonderful, Connie! I love the large YOU and schplatters on your TOY design and the incredible frame and depth on your birthday design! Thank you so much for playing in Twofer Card Challenge #34! Keep safe and take care! Hugs, Darnell

That blossom is BIG and bold and beautiful! Love both designs, my favorite is the greetings one. It's amazing the array we can create with one stamp set. Gorgeous!

That zinnia stamp was a great choice for this month's Twofer, Connie. It's large enough to capture the attention, but not so large as to overpower the rest of your design. I do like the way you've chosen opposite corners to highlight them on your 'thinking of you' card. Your ziggy coloring is perfect, too! That birthday card definitely has 'divine eloquence'!! What a pretty way to frame that bloom. It's really gorgeous. Thank you so much for sharing with us at The Twofer Challenge. Stay safe. Bev

These are fabulous, Connie! I really like the brown tones in your zinnia stamp because it's unique. Makes a great masculine card or autumnal creation. Both are beautiful! Thanks for reminding me to use my Zig markers when I begin crafting again. I'd forgotten about them! Wishing you a fantastic week. hugs, de

Wow, these are beautiful, Connie! You aced the two different designs. Great coloring and I love the neutral as much as the color on the birthday card. It's also pretty how the designer paper peeks through the die.
