I am using a stamp from 2009 today, every once and awhile you have to give those older stamps some play time.
I colored it with markers using browns, blues and greys. It felt weird to do the clouds in browns but after I have looked at it for awhile I like the touch it gives.

Hi, Connie! Beautiful monochromatic scene! It’s more like a sepia, vintage technique. Beautiful!
How glad I am to find you here again!
After so much time, I can write a comment to an amzing post of yours, those posts I’ve never forgotten!
I’ve been away from the web since the reseraches and the drafting of the history essay I wrote for an Italian publisher about the Habsburgs took up all the time I had.
But I’ve finally come back.
Sending blessings on your weekend

This is a lovley, scene Connie!
I do love the oldies, and this one is beautiful! Cool with the sepia tone and wood grain frame. All things I love. It sure makes a perfect masculine card!
what a beautiful masculine card! I love how you did everything in browns -- yes, event the clouds -- it looks great!!
Beautiful and so peaceful Connie, lovely stamp, gorgeous colours. xx
Fabulous scene you have created, perfect for any masculine celebration/need. I love that you can change this up for different seasons too....add snow or green grass even adding leaves, green or Fall foliage. Very nice!
A work of art! How wonderful, Connie.

A lovely scene and the colours are perfect.
All the best Jan
This card is lovely. I think the clouds are perfect that colour. This scene gives a lovely vintage feel.

Such w wonderful card. It looks like watercolours.
I love this little forest scene you created, beautiful way to interpret the left column on the RETRO RUBBER grid.

A lovely masculine creation, love the scene! So happy you shared this with us at Retro Rubber this week!
Stunning scene, you would never know the age of the stamp. It’s certainly one that doesn’t date.
